Lepel Lingerie Spring/Summer 2009

February 24, 2009 by Kelly

We’ve mentioned Lepel on The Lingerie Post before, but never in much detail and we haven’t really shown you many pictures. The Spring/Summer 2009 collection is a great time to amp up our coverage, with the perfectly spring-appropriate range full of fresh colors, airy and blossoming designs, delicate embroidery, and everyday casual styles. This new collection looks perfect to wear as everyday underwear – it’s not so fancy that you wouldn’t want to wear it during the day, but it’s still pretty enough that you’ll want someone to see you in it when you get home! With bras in sizes up to a G cup and panties up to size 18, almost everyone will be able to find something to fit and flatter. Here are some of my favorites:

First up, the Dusk style features oversized florals in lilac and midnight blue. The satin plunge bra makes a set with boyshorts or a thong.

Secret Garden is light and airy with delicate lace and ruffles adorned with an embellished floral design.

The fresh Sasha set includes a padded bra and boyshorts or a string in soft neutrals and energizing coral.

Firm favorite Athena is stylish and sweet with polka dots and soft scallops.

There are plenty of other new designs, so keep your eye on Figleaves UK, Debenhams, Bravissimo, House of Fraser, and Fenwicks, as well as your local boutique, to find your own favorite styles for spring!

Buy at 1907 prices!

April 23, 2007 by Mandolina

Figleaves must really have some marketing geniuses in their ranks. They’ve just launched one of the most interesting campaigns I’ve seen them do:Figleaves 1907 “buy a bra and pick up a brief/panty at 1907 prices!” They say:

“To celebrate 100 years of the bra we have teamed up with some of our favourite lingerie brands who work with Lycra to offer you a brief or thong at 1907 prices when you buy a bra from one of our featured collections.”

These selected collections are pretty great! We’re talking Triumph, Charnos, Lejaby, Lepel & Passionata (too bad some of these are only available on the UK version of the Figleaves website!). The discount is just as great. Figleaves decided to reduce the prices of the briefs to a mere 2% of their price today. Briefs are about $0.50 if you get the matching bra — at full price 😉 .

Discover Mademoiselle sale @ Knickers R Us!

March 31, 2007 by Mandolina

Earlier this week we had a question on our forums about the Discover Mademoiselle Desire set.Discover Mademoiselle Desire If only I would have known Knickers R Us would be having a sale this week, I would have been able to help Macella even better 🙁

Anyway, like I said, a Knickers R Us sale! They’ve got Discover Mademoiselle pieces in all sizes at 50% discounts (the desire padded bra is only £12 at the moment!)Discover Mademoiselle Obsession – and they also have a continuous free g-string with orders over £20 offer.

The Knickers R Us shop has lingerie from Lepel, Sloggi, Discover Mademoiselle and Triumph on their website, which is very much worth checking out. They also have the new Sloggi Hot Summer range, an affordable everyday solution for this year’s hot summer months. 😉

All the info is on their website. Happy shopping!

Battle of the Bras #5: Lepel vs. Discover Mademoiselle

December 9, 2006 by Mandolina

Alright, I’m so excited about these two bras. They are exactly what I love to wear when I want to get my boyfriend ‘in shape’. 😀 These girly bras are very, very affordable, and just as schoolgirl-sexy. Enjoy the photo’s, and don’t forget to vote!

Lepel Una Balconette BraNumber one is the exciting Lepel Una (it’s Italian!) lace and ribbon balconette bra. It’s available in quite a few different colour variations, but I like the white/pink version best. It’s available at KnickersRus, a new online store, for just £18.00!

Mademoiselle Desire BRaNumber two is somewhat alike, but by promising lingerie brand Discover Mademoiselle. The Discover Mademoiselle Desire bra is a stunning rose embroidery on white mesh with contrast black lace padded lace up bra. Very sexy! The photo is too small, I know, but the Contessa-website doesn’t feel like co-operating. The bra is available there for £24.
