Katvoodoo Masks and Chokers

April 16, 2009 by Rene

If you have long ago mastered the matching bra and knickers, have a few corsets in your closet, and can navigate the suspender belt with great deft, you may be looking for the next addition to your lingerie wardrobe. Katvoodoo may have something for you. The company makes latex chokers that add a lot of filigree details to your merrywidow. Sold mostly at gothic-tinged retailers, Katvoodoo is a French company that is making some very desirable boudoir pieces.

Besides the chokers, Katvoodoo also makes really intriguing masks. Also made of latex, these masks reveal more than a costume mask, but are more than adequate to transform you from kitten to vixen in the boudoir.

The chokers can provide high theatre looks to a plain corset top and are a nice way to reflect you lingerie details in jewelry.

You can pick up these pieces from Gothic Shop, Nocturnis, and Sophie Libertine.

PeeperSleepers for your Beauty Rest

August 5, 2008 by Mandolina

Lingerie is a broad category of clothing. Not only does it encompass the fine luxury pieces that are worn for special occasions and the everyday necessities such as bras, panties and stockings, it also includes swimwear, loungewear and sleepwear. And what nightwear outfit would be complete without a fancy sleep mask?

PeeperSleepers claims to be the world’s largest selection of sleep masks. I do not know if that is true but I must admit that they have a very large collection. And I would have to say that there is probably no need to look elsewhere as this enormous selection took me forever to peruse.

PeeperSleepers

Imagine sleep masks fashioned after endangered animals, sports oriented motifs for the soccer enthusiast, dreamy masks designed with stars and moons, and a classic collection for the music lover. The new Bamboo Collection was recently introduced and the masks are made of one hundred percent bamboo fabric. The newest group will launch later this year in October and it will feature another eco-friendly mask made of organic cotton. Other materials in the collection are silk, satin, lavender and sea-cell.

Prices range from seven US dollars to about thirty dollars so not only can you find the right pattern but you will also find a mask to meet your budget.

Accessories for the Boudoir – Masks and Blindfolds

March 28, 2008 by Rene

The most common accessory for the boudoir is probably stockings to go with a suspender belt, followed by an elegant necklace, or some killer shoes. However, the mask may be the perfect complement to go with a special lingerie outfit. Often lingerie is about what it covers up rather than what it reveals and the mask is an extension of that fantasy. Masks and blindfolds are increasingly popular. Spoylt offers many blindfolds and likes to consider the blindfold as a dual purpose tool. First, it is blindfold, but turn it around, and it makes a lovely belt too. The Envy Robe is 50% off of the regular $395 price. That could be an expensive blindfold, but it does come with a lovely robe. The Innocence blindfold appears to be a padded blindfold with a long sash. Spoylt even shows it working overtime as a belt for your jeans.

Agent Provocateur can always be counted on for the cheekiest of boudoir accessories and they have their own spin on the blindfold. The picture will have to speak a thousand words in this case, but you can pick up this mask for $85.

If you like the idea of a mask (visible eyes) instead of just a blindfold, Three Wishes offers masks that range from $10 to $120. This is the Rocolo Mask. It is handcrafted with delicate sequence detail on the mask with elaborate hanging beads at the top of the mask, and a full crown bead detail for the bottom of the mask.

Madame Khufu hand crafts all masks in leather. These creations often extend into wispy tentacles and saucy horn shapes. Pictures below are the Medusa, Notorious, and Deep Roller. They range in price from $40 to $90. Madame Khufu is an artisan accessories shop and you can visit their site for more masks.
