The most common accessory for the boudoir is probably stockings to go with a suspender belt, followed by an elegant necklace, or some killer shoes. However, the mask may be the perfect complement to go with a special lingerie outfit. Often lingerie is about what it covers up rather than what it reveals and the mask is an extension of that fantasy. Masks and blindfolds are increasingly popular. Spoylt offers many blindfolds and likes to consider the blindfold as a dual purpose tool. First, it is blindfold, but turn it around, and it makes a lovely belt too. The Envy Robe is 50% off of the regular $395 price. That could be an expensive blindfold, but it does come with a lovely robe. The Innocence blindfold appears to be a padded blindfold with a long sash. Spoylt even shows it working overtime as a belt for your jeans.
Agent Provocateur can always be counted on for the cheekiest of boudoir accessories and they have their own spin on the blindfold. The picture will have to speak a thousand words in this case, but you can pick up this mask for $85.
If you like the idea of a mask (visible eyes) instead of just a blindfold, Three Wishes offers masks that range from $10 to $120. This is the Rocolo Mask. It is handcrafted with delicate sequence detail on the mask with elaborate hanging beads at the top of the mask, and a full crown bead detail for the bottom of the mask.
Madame Khufu hand crafts all masks in leather. These creations often extend into wispy tentacles and saucy horn shapes. Pictures below are the Medusa, Notorious, and Deep Roller. They range in price from $40 to $90. Madame Khufu is an artisan accessories shop and you can visit their site for more masks.
Cool! I also like eye masks by Mary Green. The Kiki de Montparnasse ones also remind me of the Agent ones as they are very flirty and cheeky. My favorite? The one that says “sleep” on one side and “f**k” on the other. simply hilarious!
