Roza Kasiopea Lace Chokers Now Available at Ever So Sexy

August 2, 2009 by Kelly

Recently in our forums, everwicked asked where to find the lace choker shown with this Kasiopea set by Roza Lingerie:

Gill Fernandez from Ever So Sexy (screenname Gillf) let us know that the choker wasn’t available and was made only as an accessory for the photo shoot. Only weeks later, she has managed to convince Roza to make some of these chokers available to the public, and this special limited-edition batch is now available at Ever So Sexy!

The company newsletter said:

If you like this choker collar then we strongly recommend ordering it now.  There is no guarantee that Roza will make any more.  It could become a collectors item!

Katvoodoo Masks and Chokers

April 16, 2009 by Rene

If you have long ago mastered the matching bra and knickers, have a few corsets in your closet, and can navigate the suspender belt with great deft, you may be looking for the next addition to your lingerie wardrobe. Katvoodoo may have something for you. The company makes latex chokers that add a lot of filigree details to your merrywidow. Sold mostly at gothic-tinged retailers, Katvoodoo is a French company that is making some very desirable boudoir pieces.

Besides the chokers, Katvoodoo also makes really intriguing masks. Also made of latex, these masks reveal more than a costume mask, but are more than adequate to transform you from kitten to vixen in the boudoir.

The chokers can provide high theatre looks to a plain corset top and are a nice way to reflect you lingerie details in jewelry.

You can pick up these pieces from Gothic Shop, Nocturnis, and Sophie Libertine.

What to Wear with Your Valentine Kit

February 23, 2009 by Rene

Did you get a new kit from your beloved for Valentine’s Day? If not, maybe you picked up something special for yourself in the sales after the holidays. Are you looking for accessories or something to finish up your boudoir outfit? Here are some ideas to consider.

From the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum gift shop comes these incredibly thin stainless steel, powder coated black or white and precision laser cut bracelets. Fabian’s design is inspired by lingerie and its use of lace. Find them for $135

If you need a lingerie inspired choker, you might have success with either of these. One the left is a latex choker from Gloss Couture for $34. On the right, is a leather and lace choker from mega supplier Allure. Find this one for $26.78.

If retro is more your style, then Lou Lou Loves You is an accessory designer you need to be familiar with. On the left is a one of her famous bows. This is made from double layered 100% silk satin and is £16.99. On the right, one of her special cover-ups. The Dorothy Boudoir Jacket in black/white gingham is 100% cotton with a delicate black frilled elastic which creates a fitted look. Long black ribbon ties the jacket together at the centre. Find it for £45.

If you are looking for a lower cover up, then Torrid has some designs for plus-sized ladies. These petticoats have additional details to make them perfect for the boudoir. On the left, a feathered offering about 15″ long in polyester for $38. On the right, a car wash inspired fringe petticoat about 17″ long also for $38.

Louise Black Corsets & Uniques at Etsy

January 29, 2009 by Mandolina

We’ve had quite a few Etsy-lingerie-finds on The Lingerie Post before (mostly thanks to Kelly, who has a knack for these things), and today – we have another one!

Louise Black has been selling her breathtaking custom corsets (and other special high-end items) online since the year 2000 – and she’s still adding designs to her Etsy shop every once in a while, which means her spot on TLP is well-deserved if you ask me…

Below — my 3 favorite pieces from her Etsy Boutique.

Victorian Anatomical Steampunk Cameo Corset

“The lace trimmed cameo corset is a Louise Black signature item and has been around since 2004. It is constructed from 7 panels of black twill canvas. It’s reinforced with an additional layer of heavy weight canvas for even more cinching power. The entire piece is lined in a decorative cotton layer. The edges and seams are encased in bias tape & lace. This sturdy, under-bust style is more of a decorative corset (not for severe waist reduction/ training), but it will pull in your waist a couple inches and give your mid-section a waspy, hour glass appearance” link

Court Jester Circus Neck Ruff Choker

“This whimsical neck adornment is made from ruffled Victorian cotton lace backed with wide pink satin ribbon. I’ve sewn a second layer of vintage metallic lace down the center front and topped with with hand-sewn antique glass pearls. The center piece is a hand-cut tattered rose made from silk chiffon and pink/gold 20’s metallic lace. I’ve sewn an art deco brooch to the center and trimmed the flower with 20’s silver bugle bead fringe.” link

Marionette Inspired Black Silk Party Dress

The black silk dupioni was all hand pleated by Louise Black, and have been angled chevron style at each seam. The double ruffled collar has been interfaced into the neckline so it stands up high around the neck rather than flopping down (though if you prefer this look, the collar can be pushed down). It is fully lined in satin, has an invisible bottom hem, zips up at the side, and closes down the back with 30 glass ball buttons. The gathered cap sleeves are lined with black and white striped satin and the waist belt is hand beaded. link

Prices for these breathtaking unique creations are much lower than what you’d expect. For example — that corset on number one is for sale at under $150. That’s not bad, is it? Check out her complete shop right here on Etsy!
