Dereon Intimates: Fierce and Fabulous

January 16, 2009 by Krista

The fabulous and fierce, Beyonce, and her beautiful and talented mother, Tina, launched the Intimates branch of the highly successful Dereon label last year.  With bold colors and prints, sassy silhouettes, and lots of attention paid to the details, this collection is a must-have!

The fall collection features the Basic group which includes seamless contour bras (cleavage enhancing, demi, and wireless) and matching panties (thong, boyshort, and low rise bikini).  Perfectly functional for a smooth look under your daytime looks, yet fun enough to wear on a night out.

In addition to the basics, Dereon Intimates also has its print collection, Animal Lace.  Be naughty and nice in this flirty set that combines a spicy leopard print with a sweet, chartreuse lace.

In addition to bras and panties, Dereon Intimates also features sleepwear and loungewear including yoga pants, shorts, sleepdresses, tanks and camis – cozy, comfortable, and sexy.

Dereon Intimates are not only appealing to your eye, but to your wallet as well.  You can look sleek and chic (in quality pieces nonetheless) without breaking the bank!  Bras retail from $28 – $42 and panties from $10 – $14 at department stores throughout the U.S. and online at dereon.com and HerRoomicon.  Stay tuned for more from the Spring and Summer collections which are guaranteed to please with their bright colors, prints, and patterns, and sexy silhouettes including the Weightless collection featured in Beyonce’s If I Were a Boy video!

House Of Deréon Lingerie Launch

April 20, 2008 by Brenda

For those of you who are not familiar with the House of Deréon, it is the company inspired by Beyoncé’s maternal grandmother Agnéz Deréon who was an accomplished seamstress and dressmaker in Louisiana designing custom clothing for her own clients. The company itself is the collaboration of Beyoncé and her mother Tina Knowles who spent many years of her life in fashion.

House of Dereon LogoBeyoncé and Tina launched their line of clothing to provide designer items without the large price tags. They call it “hip haute”. Silk, charmeuse, satin and linen with lace trimmings are the main fabrics of the collections. They plan to add sunglasses and other accessories this year.

In addition, Tina Knowles recently announced that House of Deréon would launch its own line of lingerie with the Spring 2008 collection. It seems odd that it would be released this late as part of the Spring lineup but if it as elegant and stylish as their evening dresses, the lingerie will be appealing. There is very little information other than the announcement itself. We do not know yet what direction the line will take nor do we have any photos. I guess we will all just have to wait and see together.
