Fuller Figures take note: Autumn/Winter ’07 with Freya

August 22, 2007 by Kelly

Freya Arabella in SorbetMy new Freya Arabella bra in “Sorbet” (read: bright pink and orange) showed up at my door a few days ago, and I. Am. In. Love. Of course, this led to immediate research on the rest of the Autumn/Winter 2007 collection! I am happy to report that the colder months will no longer be gloomy, thanks to Freya’s inclusion of bright colors in the collection.

I’ll admit that I dislike half of the collection, but love the rest. Go figure! For anyone who had a favorite style this past summer, you should be glad to know that much of the new collection is a revamp of older favorites, with new colors for the new season. For anyone new to Freya, I highly recommend the brand because it focuses on giving larger cup sizes supportive bras that are still feminine and delicate- many up to a J cup! Check out the website to see when your favorites are available; some already are, and some will not be released for another couple months.

I’ve got to say I’m very disappointed with this collection. I expect more from Freya than this. Good that they use different bright colours but the designs are lacklustre. And it’s lazy to rehash past designs.

I’m torn about it. On one hand, I know that these designs aren’t as exciting as a lot of the stuff featured on TLP. But for larger cup sizes? This is magnificent. It is extremely hard to find a brand that makes a good bra for larger cups that still looks good – so is it lazy to re-use designs? Yes. Are they as exciting as other brands? No. But in the larger cup world, I’m thrilled to have Freya around.

Exactly the reasons why my expectations from Freya are so high! I expect great things from them and when they don’t meet my lofty expectations, I get a little disappointed. They’re still a great brand for large cups sizes and I love their use of colour.

I agree with you Kelly. I bought one too only this week from Fusion Lingerie (see website: http://www.fuzionlingerie.com/ )and it’s fantastic. I loved it. It’s a great bra for us bigger boobs girls with great fit. I think they are exciting!

agreed. do you remember high school when the other girls could get those cute matching sets from target or whatever and you could not because they didn’t make your size??? or even now. when i go to those stores for every day bras, they have one in my size, if that. i’m so glad i discovered so many other wonderful lines like freya, fayreform, panache, etc. people who have a clue about our market!

i’m not buying anything new until i get refitted. think i am going this weekend so maybe i will have some new things to report!
