Here are some great photo’s (and some extra commentary, off course!) from the 2007 The Between The Sheets show we covered last week by photographer Bob Nittoli.
This flirty and fun spin nautical theme (right down to the sailor hats!) charmed the crowd and truly put the naughty in naughty-cal! I love the retro simplicity of the navy halter neck piece – a fit that would be flattering on any woman, including the beautiful model. I love the red accents and detailing, especially the shoes. Anchors Away!
Up close and personal with Layla’s “Dreamcatcher†collection, we find another charming (and very wearable) corset with a very contemporary menswear feel with a beautifully feminine edge added by the boyshorts. This stylish set was modeled by Rowthania, one of the lovely models who truly owned the catwalk.
My pictures did not do Lorraine’s collection justice! I enjoyed the red and cream polka dot piece as it revealed a bit of couture. My favorite was the bra and skirt set for the great attention to detail and abundant use of texture. I love the criss-cross of ribbon detail, especially the peek-a-boo back as well as the combination of Swiss dots and animal print. Original and intriguing for sure.
