Rebecca Simone: A space oddysey

March 26, 2007 by Mandolina

Rebecca SimoneEver heard of Rebecca Simone? Designer-lingerie.com introduces her:

“She launched her own label in October 2005 after extensive research of fabrics, prints and decorative techniques from historical costume originating from England, India and the far east. With great attention to each bead, sequin and hand-crafted technique, each piece becomes desirable to the eye with sheer beauty.”

The ten pieces designer-lingerie.com has in stock from Rebacca Simone’s brand new collection look very strange, but not in a bad way at all… It’s all very floral, very over the edge and a little overdecorated. It all looks like it’s working though, and the use of high end fabrics mean it all looks classy while being extravagant.

I’m giving it a two thumbs up. The only negative part is the price tag, but hey, this isn’t daily wear stuff! Prices start at £32 up to +£120. Hope you enjoy the photo’s, there’s more on the designer-lingerie.com website!

eh, I don’t know what I think about this stuff. It *is* too over-the-top, and I feel like the only piece this craziness works for is the flowery top. But even that…

maybe I’m just not adventerous enough 🙂
