When we first mentioned Le Doux swimwear I was very excited about the stunning bikinis in their 2007 collection, and about two weeks later I’m still just as excited, this time after having tried on their exotic St. Tropez bikini!

The first thing you notice when putting on the bikini bottom is: “oh my this is sexy!”. This may sounds like a pure compliment but I was somewhat scared to be honest. This really is Brazilian style and I usually wear the full size bikini bottoms… Once I got over myself (I was on a mission!) and the tinier than expected pants I noticed the pretty bead details on the sides: great success! Really, not only do these look great (check the photo for detail of the structure!), they didn’t bother me at all while I had the bikini on (neither did the size by the way, the bottom isn’t trying to crawl up anything if you catch my drift ).

The halter bandeau looked so beautiful on the Le Doux website that I was pretty sure I’d like it. After getting some help from Bert getting me strapped up in the back I can honestly say this is a winner. The beautiful detail from the bottom’s side returns on the top and it really adds that little extra to the design. You can expect quite a few of these halter bandeau designs on the beach (I’ve seen them in many 2007 collections), but not too many will have this pretty detail, believe me

I love the final look. I didn’t have a beach close by to go take some photo’s so it’s a living-room-bikini-photo, but at least you now have an idea about who Mandolina is ! Want to go shopping? The stocklist is on the Le Doux website, expect prices to be around $150!
