Lepel Lingerie Spring/Summer 2009

We’ve mentioned Lepel on The Lingerie Post before, but never in much detail and we haven’t really shown you many pictures. The Spring/Summer 2009 collection is a great time to amp up our coverage, with the perfectly spring-appropriate range full of fresh colors, airy and blossoming designs, delicate embroidery, and everyday casual styles. This new collection looks perfect to wear as everyday underwear – it’s not so fancy that you wouldn’t want to wear it during the day, but it’s still pretty enough that you’ll want someone to see you in it when you get home! With bras in sizes up to a G cup and panties up to size 18, almost everyone will be able to find something to fit and flatter. Here are some of my favorites:

First up, the Dusk style features oversized florals in lilac and midnight blue. The satin plunge bra makes a set with boyshorts or a thong.

Secret Garden is light and airy with delicate lace and ruffles adorned with an embellished floral design.

The fresh Sasha set includes a padded bra and boyshorts or a string in soft neutrals and energizing coral.

Colorful Cosabella Lingerie for Spring

It’s only February, I know. But with temperatures in the 40s and 50s here in New York, it is making me desire all things spring! And although it may be a few more weeks before the weather is ready to cooperate, lucky for us all, the lingerie already is!

Vintage Vixens – Tra-La-La Lingerie

A new brand, Tra-La-La Lingerie, joins the ranks of those doing vintage. And, believe me, they are doing it very well! Tra-La-La has taken the flirty, playful, and fun elements of that era and the technology and fabrication of this era and translated it into gorgeous pieces you’ll want to wear again and again.

Each collection has a theme (such as Bat Your Eyelashes, Fly Me to the Moon, and Ride ‘Em Cowboy!) and features a number of pieces from babydolls, camis, and rompers to high waist panties, hipsters, and tap pants. Colorways for Spring begin with rich jewel tones and move to flirty pastels, classic black, and colorful coral. Sulis Silks Lingerie – New Spring Catalogue

Sulis Silks Ltd. has launched two new collections, Tivoli and Camille, with their May spring catalogue. And the individual pieces are incredible! Indeed, silk is always a gorgeous lingerie fabric but the Camille ensemble in delicate floral embroidery on semi sheer net and silk is decadent and heavenly. Tivoli is a pretty aqua colour stretch lace on pure silk that sweeps the wearer off to faraway lands with its dreamy feel.

Camille is a wonderful collection of silk panties, chemise, babydoll, bra, suspender (garter) and string. Three selections of panties, French knickers, hip-hugging briefs, and string thong, make purchasing a difficult choice. Blue flowers with black accent embroidery meticulously placed over the pink or blue silk with a tiny bow on the knickers’ waistband, ribbon detailing on the briefs, and brown stretch ruffle on the thong are all elegant designs. Matching underwire bra and suspender work perfectly with the thong creating a very sexy yet stated outfit. The babydoll with lined embroidered cups, delicate, adjustable straps and cross over front combines with any of the three style panties making a sweet little ensemble. But the chemise is striking, made of six panels, lace bust, deep lace hem, and tiny bows adorning the hem and middle of the breasts.

Tivoli, a more revealing collection than the Camille as the garments are not lined in the bust area, includes a camisole, French knickers, bra, briefs, suspender, chemise, nightdress and string panties. Sumptuous, three-quarter length nightdress is exciting with its pretty laced, single side split, tiny rosebud, spaghetti straps and lace bust.

Both the camisole and chemise are equally pretty. But the Tivoli thong is even sweeter than the Camille as the silk is completely covered with stretch lace in the shape of a panty ending with a tulle frill.
