Chantelle Lingerie: “Being at one” Fall/Winter 2019

June 22, 2019 by Press Release

This season CL group has considered the nuances of identiy, focusing on a theme of being, and what this means for each of their brands. For Chantelle, this is embodied in a sense of being. The search for inner peace and harmony, and blending the truth of mind, body and soul. Chantelle introduces Sense of Being, the Fall Winter collection for 2019, a campaign grounded in the idea of being at one, and inspired by the pursuit of truth.

In response to an over reliance on technology and social media narcissism, consumers are looking to reconnect, re-evaluate and find peace both within themselves and as a part of a greater whole.

To embody this search, the Chantelle FW19 campaign, photographed by Renaud Cambuzat, looked to four unique individuals. Rooted in Chantelle’s core brand values, the faces that run through the FW19 campaign represent the multifaceted women of today and the power of combined differences. Four individual personalities, styles and profiles but one common strength.

Featuring a combination of urban and more ethereal landscapes, FW19 exists in no particular time or place, focussing on the comfort of simply being. The individual women in the campaign portray a sense of peace, serenity and feeling at home in your environment – wherever you are. Chantelle takes you to this place.

Through the complicated and often chaotic nature of the present day, Chantelle has taken its own path, finding strength in the comfort of BEING AT ONE.

Maison Close Lingerie’s Sensational New Collections

April 1, 2010 by Mandolina

Maison Close, the lingerie label that hit The Lingerie Post with a huge splash last september is back with two absolutely breathtaking new collections that were first introduced to the lingerie world at the Salon de la Lingerie in Paris earlier this year. The two collections are both absolutely amazing – even though they sort of contradict each other. Villa Caprice is extremely extravagant and looks very geometrical, whereas Bel-Ami is much more intimate, a beautiful and seductive retro collection…

VILLA CAPRICE

Dynamic, modern and beautiful. The Villa Caprice collection, like passion itself, has no time for moderation. Maison Close shows this with beautiful accessories (belt, hold-ups and bodices) along with pulse-increasing undergarments to dress a bare arm, wrap around the waist or enhance the curve of a heel. To give free rein to your fancy and to ensure a variety of pleasures, the collection has been designed so that the various items (shorty, G-string, suspenders, etc.) can be worn on top of one another, playing with all the possible combinations to give you the ability to create your own look.

VILLA BEL-AMI

Like I said before, a much more intimate and vintage-styled collection. When I saw the first photos I was extremely impressed, and taking a closer look at some of these pieces I am just in love with them.

The items have kept the girdling properties which made them such a hit while at the same time releasing the body from its constraints thanks to flexible and stretch materials such as mesh or voile fabric. The mousseline suspender belt body suit makes the structure of the garment visible while highlighting the curves of the body. The classically inspired pieces are redesigned to create outfits which are original and yet seem so familiar. An example is the jaw-dropping traditional waspie to which a G-string is attached (see pic below!). Absolutely gorgeous – judge for yourself!

I was so impressed with Maison Close last time I mentioned them on TLP – and it looks like they did it again! They still have a very pretty website at maison-close.com, check it out for more photos, more information and info on where to buy!
