New Low-Rise Thongs from TLBC

November 21, 2008 by Kelly

Remember when I told you how great The Little Bra Company is for listening to their customers and coming out with 28 and 30 band sizes? Well, they’ve done it again!

As we’ve told you before, TLBC has filled in a much-needed gap of gorgeous bras made not only in smaller sizes, but specifically with a petite frame in mind. That means that TLBC bras fit much better than those from other brands that focus on a larger range of cup sizes – but in the beginning, it also meant that they were so focused on getting a perfect bra fit that they only released one style of classic lace boyshort panties. Customers asked for a skimpier choice, however, and TLBC listened! A new low-rise Lucia thong has recently been introduced in the gorgeous new color combinations to match the new Lucia bras! You can have all the comfort, with less coverage.

Now all you women with smaller frames can have perfectly fitting bras, and you can choose how much coverage (or lack thereof!) you want every day. I think that, by now, it’s obvious that TLBC really listens to their customers. So if you’re itching to get your hands on some, so head over to The Little Bra Company’s website to purchase your own set.

(Pssst! If you like what you see, keep an eye on The Lingerie Post. Very soon, we will be giving one of these sets away!)

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Here are two ways you can look good and feel good about your purchases.

Hanky Panky Breast Cancer Awareness Thong Help Hanky Panky reach its $10,000 donation goal by purchasing a Breast Cancer Awareness Thong.  The pink thong (available in both original and low rise) is adorned with a Swarovski-encrusted Breast Cancer Awareness symbol.  Hanky Panky will donate $2 from the sale of each Breast Cancer Awareness Thong to the Susan G. Bamboo Bliss: Eden Collection by Cosabella

April 22, 2008 by Krista

If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a huge fan of eco-friendly lingerie. Here’s a closer take at the Eden collection by Cosabella which features silky smooth bamboo fabric.Eden by Cosabella - Cami and Short in SageThe Eden collection consists of lingerie and loungewear with your ultimate comfort in mind. Pair a cami or another top with shorts or pants. Coordinate with a matching low rise thong. These natural, cozy (and antistatic!) pieces are available in the yummy garden hues of corn, carrot, sage, radish, earth, and onion. Choose one or choose them all. Each low rise thong comes individually packaged in its own minibasket.

Eden by Cosabella - Garden of Eden

So why bamboo? Bamboo is a naturally absorbent fabric that absorbs four times more than cotton keeping you comfortable and dry on even the most humid nights. Due to its mineral content, bamboo is odor preventative and stimulates the wearer’s blood circulation. Additionally, bamboo is antibacterial, breathable, and cool making it an ideal choice for anyone who wants to feel good on both the inside and outside.

Eden by Cosabella - Low Rise Thongs in MinibasketsThe biodegradable bamboo used in the Eden collection is light, but resistant due to the advanced knitting techniques used to create the material. Micro-modal is added to the bamboo to enhance the natural shine and fall of the fabric. Modal is also a 100% natural product, made of beech wood, making the garments fully natural and fully recyclable. Not that you would be recycling them any time soon! The modal also contributes to the ability of the garments to withstand wash and wear, which means you’ll have them for years to come.

The Eden collection will be available this July. However, you should enjoy the many other comfortable, fun, and fashionable pieces by Cosabella including the newly released Sex and the City collection I told you about a while back. This collection includes the Charlotte group which also features bamboo fabric. Purchase online at Bare Necessities or Chic Mystique and at boutiques and major retailers near you. See the Cosabella site for more details.

Find Your Inner Fleur’t – Spring/Summer 2008!

March 18, 2008 by Krista

Fleur’t has been mentioned many times here on TLP. It is a personal favorite of mine! Every collection is well thought out and designed with a woman’s needs in mind. Both the Spring/Summer 2008 and Fall 2008 collections have added new touches, colors, patterns, and textures to the already successful boy pants, bralets, camis, and chemises. Women of all age groups and interests can find something to their liking in one of the many fleur’ty groups. Look below and find the fleur’t that fits you! Enjoy! classic fleur’t

fleur't amber robe fleur't lulu cami and yoga pantFleur’t is possibly best known for its super comfortable and super soft lulu’s boy pant! To accommodate the wide range of women who swear by this staple, lulu’s boy pant are now available in two new sizes – Petite/Small and Large/Large in addition to the already existing Small/Medium and Medium/Large! And the sizes aren’t the only new addition. Fleur’t has added an assortment of fun, eye-popping colors and cute, sassy patterns. I’m a fan of the solids papaya and pink lavender as the patterns lemongrass damask and rose giraffe! Also find these colors and patterns in the low-rise thong, lace v-thong, and g-string. The lulu collection, which in addition to the boy pant and low-rise thong, includes a bralet, criss-cross cami, lace strap cami, long cami, criss-cross chemise, and a new yoga pant! Mix and match them all for a cute and cozy look. The amber collection is a fleur’t favorite featuring pretty lace overlays. Again, the pieces in this group can be mixed and matched. In addition to the camis and chemise, the amber collection is noted for its delicate kimono robe. New to the amber collection are a lace bralet and matching ½ lace thong boy.

Spring/Summer 2008

The Spring/Summer collection is already in stores and will continue to appear in stores over the next few months. One new group for spring, valerie, features heathered rayon spandex in black and grey edged with ivory stretch cluny lace. Both the empire cami and chemise are marked by a very fleur’ty open front. The same stretch lace accents both the tunic and cropped ruffle pant.

I love the chantal group as it reflects a new trend in fleur’t lingerie – prints! Made of silk charmeuse and overlaid with lace, chantal is perfect for lounging or sleeping. In addition to hot pink and aqua, the lace bust cami and chemise and coordinating boxer short also is available in coral swirl or aqua swirl prints.

With spring comes an influx of weddings, so vanessa is perfect for the blushing bride. Choose from a lace front low-rise thong, lace bralet, and lace bust cami and chemise.

Speaking of prints (again), jessica is an all print group that evokes a youthful spirit! Pair the cami with the matching lace brief or long wide leg pant or the chemise with the lace v-thong. Prints include pink leopard, green floral, pink polka dot, and ivory polka dot!

If all of this wasn’t already enough, lulu has to make an impression on spring! Look for lulu in light, airy springy colors like white, sky, and pink! In April, lulu is available in pink, lemon, and seafoam before brightening things up in May with whimsical colors like fuchsia, papaya, and orchid. Perfect for the tropical vacation you will need around that time! After all that fun, it will be time for rest and relaxation. Muted colors like ivory, pink, and black are accented with a silvery shade called dove, reflecting the calm and serene onset of summer.

There are so many other exciting elements to the collection including more prints, more bright colors, and more styles. I love the low rise ruched back panty in the amy collection as I think the ruched looked is absolutely darling and flatters the female form. Additionally, it is edged with a sweet heart shaped elastic, which I am sure will make it popular with lots of ladies. I also like the agatha collection as it offers a new tunic dress for the client who wants a little more coverage. In the caroline collection, there are a range of styles with a variety of coverage options. Choose from the spaghetti strapped, lace bust cami and chemise or the lace tank and tank dress featuring wider straps for additional coverage.

Ready to buy? Where should you go to find fleur’t? Click here for a list of stockists or try online at Urban Minx (a new find for me). Images of the fabulous prints and other highlights of the collection will be up soon!
