When I was a very little girl, some of my first sets of underwear were the days-of-the-week style. I distinctly remember being excited to pick out the correct day every morning, and I think they are part of what started my love of fun underpinnings! I’m sure many of you had the same experience – and if you want to relive your childhood delight, or if you simply love being organized, I’ve found the knickers for you! Stella McCartney released a “Knickers of the Week” set in the Autumn/Winter 2008 collection that revive our girlhood memories, complete with dainty ruffles and sweet embroidered flowers. The silk-blend knickers come in a complete seven-day pack, or an abbreviated weekend set. They would be an adorable gift in the dressing-drawer style packaging! Find your own at Net-A-Porter, Boudiche, or Journelle.

Apsara Designs – Spring/Summer 2007
High-end brand Apsara is another new one on The Lingerie Post. The French label led by Samantha Graham-Bell is rising quickly (and is stocked at online retail giant Net-A-Porter for example!) and their Spring/Summer 2007 collection is absolutely beautiful. Here are some relatively small photo’s (sorry about that) straight from the Apsara website:
Price tags for their pieces at Net-A-Porter are at the higher end of the spectrum (about $300 a set). I like this La Babette triangle, this stunning La Bardot halter and this La Sirene halter too. Very pretty, not very cheap! 😉
Emilio Pucci Bikini: hmmmm….
I’ve never really been a fan of Emilio Pucci’s powerful designs, and this Metallic sheen bikini is looking like it’s more of the same. It’s overloaded with colors, has a metallic finish that actually makes this bikini look like it’s covered with plastic foil, and a hideous clasp on the back to finish the look off.
I know I sounds unbelievably negative, but really, why would anyone pay €280 (that’s about $380) for this piece when there’s thousands of sexy colorful pieces for about $150… Beats me!
Anyway, pics are straight from net-a-porter.com — more info can be found there too!
