La Senza was never my favorite online lingerie store. I always have the feeling you don’t have any clue on what the quality of the lingerie you buy with them will be… I bought a few items from their site now, and I’ve had dissapointments (a kimono that didn’t really look like the one advertised on their website) and good experiences (an ultra cheap push-up bra that still serves after quite some time and was obviously great value for money). I’m not one to be too judgemental, so I’m willing to give them another try because of the interesting items they have on their midseason sale at the moment.
The first item that deserves some praise is this £5 lace cotton push-up bra. At five pounds you can’t go wrong with this fresh and young bra. It looks sexy and girly, and the moulded cups with subtle soft built in padding provide an extra lift to any bust size. I’m not that big a fan of padding, but hey, it’s a push up, right? The bra comes in black, pink, polka dots, stripes and white… I suggest combining it with one of the cotton briefs to match!
The next item I found really interesting is this an extremely cute and girlie broderie anglaise babydoll called “Delicate Delights”. The babydoll looks classy and mature, and does in no way show its cheap £16 price tag. There’s an option to include a matching thong, which we would obviously suggest.
From now on, I’m keeping my eye on the La Senza website… You never know more of these absolute bargains pop on the radar. Happy shopping!
