Blending traditional tailoring with futuristic fabrics, Karla Colletto Swimwear is the culmination of many years’ experience designing custom sportswear and bridal gowns. Wishing to work with someone equally as experienced in fashion, Karla partnered with Lisa Rovan and they decided to focus on the swimwear market. Karla Colletto Swimwear is considered well ahead of its time with advanced technologies, rich Italian microfibers, and unique combinations of patterns and colours.
Karla’s “Cruise 2008” collection consists of seventeen breathtaking one piece bathing suits in a variety of colours with adornments of flower appliqués, covered buttons, sweet bows, dainty ruffles, fun dots, and crystal eyelets. Each suit is elegant, eye-catching and focused on detail. “Citrus” is a bright, bold colourful print of golds, browns and reds sporting a pretty empire waist sash, a ruched bodice with spaghetti straps, and ending with a breezy, little skirt.
The creamy coloured ”Leopard” bathing suit with decadent, translucent tulle inserts above and between the breasts coupled with wide shoulder straps, and empire waist belt, exudes richness, all the while displaying a sexy aspect with its high cut leg bands. “Bloom” is the traditional one piece in classic black and white. Gorgeous white flowers decorate the front of the suit and in the middle of each flower sits a pretty black covered button. Sweet white accents on the bands of the legs, the outline of the breasts, and the tiny shoulder straps finish off this lovely bathing suit.
Such a popular collection, Karla Colletto Swimwear has been showcased in various magazines including Sports Illustrated, Fitness, Oprah Magazine, Washingtonian, Glamour, New York Times and Vogue. The American swimwear label with company showrooms in New York City and Los Angeles, is sold at high-end boutiques around the world and many online retailers as well.
