A recent lingerie fashion show, “Fantasia”, was organized and produced in New Zealand for the cause of benefiting KidsCan, a charitable trust whose purpose is to meet the needs of Kiwi children. They provide food, shoes and raincoats and are “dedicated to meeting the basic physical needs of financially disadvantaged children, levelling the playing field for them so they have the chance to reach their full potential”.
Five hundred guests, international models, local and international lingerie brands, entertainers and musicians participated in the high profile extravaganza. Some of the lingerie brands who showed their labels were Bendon, By Caprice, James & August, Triumph, UWC (The Underwear Club) and Zabu. According to newspaper reports, local participating models were Penny Picard and Tea Wood as well as Chantelle from America’s Next Top Model. Many other models from countries from around the world also participated in this extraordinary and worthwhile event.
With a goal of raising $50,000, thirteen designers created one of a kind items especially for the spectacular show. For a video report, click right here!
