We just showed you the Marie Jo Spring/Summer 2009 collection, and as we always do – here’s a follow-up with photos of the new Marie Jo L’Aventure collection for Spring/Summer 2009.
Marie Jo L'Aventure
In the post we did about the new Marie Jo Lingerie Fall/Winter 2008 collection I mentioned the fact that we’d soon be back with the new Marie Jo L’Aventure line — and my lord I’m getting good at this — I was right! 😀
As always the L’Aventure collection looks a little more girly and experimental — and as always I’m loving the lingerie and the photography.
Personal favorite from the collection is the somewhat strange halter-bra “Nobu” (above!) that has a rich halter attached to the bow. Very bikini-like, but with Marie Jo support. I’m sure it’s a masterpiece.

Belgian lingerie label Marie Jo has just updated their excellent website with beautiful photos of their new Spring/Summer collections. We’ll be looking at their main collection in a couple days, but first let’s take a look at their somewhat more casual and sporty Marie Jo L’Aventure range…
Marie Jo L’Aventure has experimented with shapes and materials to design a glamorous collection that perfectly expresses her philosophy: pure, no-nonsense and totally individual. On top or underneath? You choose! Marie Jo L’Aventure takes a different approach with this collection, inspired by icons of the silver screen from the 30s and 40s. Luxurious models that are comfortable every day. Which is just so Marie Jo L’Aventure.
All of the MJL’ASS08 pieces are named after men. My favorites are Neal (fresh as a summer breeze, yet sophisticated and luxurious), Mathew (pointillistic pencil strokes in gold or silver on a canvas of soya and azure) and Tom (comfortable and sober, yet classy). A big load of pics below — more info and pricing on the Marie Jo L’Aventure website!
Belgian retailer Lingerie Valentijn has just updated their online catalogue with the brand new Marie Jo, Prima Donna and Marie Jo L’Aventure collections. It’s the first online retailer that has the collections we featured some time ago in stock — so that was worth a little follow-up, no? 😉
Happy shopping — photos are from our previous coverage!
Just a few days ago we showed you the Marie Jo 2007 F/W collection, now it’s time to zoom in on the Marie Jo L’Aventure A/W 2007 line. I’ve always liked the L’Aventure collection better than the Marie Jo mother-line so to speak, and I’m very excited about this collection too.
The Marie Jo website summarizes: “Marie Jo L’Aventure returns to her roots: an elegant, pure, stylish rendition of minimalist trends in fashion.”, and all I can do is agree. The collection looks very elegant and simple — but extremely beautiful in its simplicity. I know I’m a bit biased seeing as this is a Belgian brand, but I’m sure I’m not the only one that loves these styles…
Enjoy the suberp photo’s from the Marie Jo L’Aventure website!
