Journelle, the 2,000 square foot lifestyle lingerie store, is slated to open this December in the Flatiron district. With a focus on sophistication and quality, Journelle seeks to provide an experience for the modern woman who views her lingerie as not just a necessity, but an indulgence.

With over 40 brands including Araks, Elle Macpherson, Huit, and Mimi Holliday, Journelle will stock products from every day basics to more intricate and sexy sets. All of these will be delicately placed in drawers in a clean, chic space. Other details of the store include spacious fitting rooms, elegant wrapping, and a seating area for shopping companions. Huit Lingerie Fall/Winter 2007

Huit is one of the high-end labels that haven’t had the amount of attention they deserve on our little lingerie blog here, but thanks to Alison of Faire Frou Frou, we now have jaw-dropping photos of the new Huit Fall/Winter 2007 lingerie collection — a perfect reason to feature Huit once again!

The lines from this collection are only now arriving at the stores, but keep your eyes on Faire Frou Frou, who’ll be adding them all to their e-boutique soon. In the mean time: enjoy the excellent pics!

Swim (or soak up the sun) in Style

Yes. Weâ€™ve been telling you all for a while. Spring is coming (sooner than later, we hope). And then, summer…and bathing suit season.

I am already a fan of the Huit collections of swimwear for 2007. On my recent shopping excursion, I noticed the Riviera collection already available for purchase. I love the variety of tops and bottoms suiting almost every size and comfort level. Hopefully, a wider selection will be available soon in stores.

In the meantime, TLP favorite figleaves.com has quite a few on their site including the Amareto strapless halter bandeau bikini set seen below. It is currently available for $117. Not bad for a high quality, classic suit that is sure to last you through quite a few summers.
