Gonzales Underwear

TLP reported on Gonzales underwear earlier this year. We’re happy to report two updates. Gonzales is now showing a Flash based video of their catwalk. You can see some pictures from the clip in this post and head over to MySpace to view it from Gonzales page on the site. TLP is also happy to report that the online shop “Not on the Highstreet” is now offering Gonzales designs.

The range includes Frenchy, Frenchy Basics, Kiwi and Juicy, Carmen is a designer from the Canary Islands, and she has created a name for herself in Europe with her ‘Chicas’ pictures of feminine figures that have been seen on the pages of prestigious magazines such as Allegra, Cosmopolitan and Elle. She has also collaborated on different projects and expositions.

Designer Carmen Gonzales has just sent us some photos of her first 2008 range, called Irma la Douce. The designer from Gran Canaria manufactures her pieces on the island personally, and focusses on feminine heroes, one collection each year. She also hand-makes the boxes or pouches they are carried in, which are also different each year and carry on the theme. Past collections included Miss juicy, Miss Cohiba, Miss Frenchy Miss Red Riding Hood (photo right).

For this year, Gonzales Underwear’s Irma la Douce was launched in Lyon for 2008 delivery. The collection is made up of 30 pieces with seasonal additions and colour changes. The models include balconettes, camis, slips, boy shorts, french knickers and soft bras. All very pretty! We’ve got some catwalk pics, hope you like them! 🙂
