In this series, TLP will narrow our coverage of lingerie around the globe and focus on the country of Poland. Poland has a long history of textile manufacturing and since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Poland has been embracing market economies. Freed from quotas and mandated manufacturing, many Polish textile companies are stepping on to the world stage.
Febe makes lingerie in Poland. Febe’s past looks like it was centered around plain cotton knickers. Their current collection is a small offering of deep chestnut, coral, and sky blue. Unfortunately, most retailers only have the plain cotton knickers. You can see the whole collection in thumbnail at the end of this article. You can see some highlighted pieces below.
The Febe site is available in Russian, German, English, and Polish. The site shows some modern bandeau-style suspender belts as well as a slip dress that give the collection a strong sense of the past. You can find them online http://abcbielizny.pl/ in Polish. Pricing is ~12 zt for the bra and ~8 zt for the knickers (~6 US, ~3 UK). I can’t find a wholesale offering for Febe, so it looks like the brand will keep their focus on retail in Poland and some Polish e-commerce sites.
