Cristina Iaia

On the lookout: Cristina Iaia

May 4, 2009 by Rene

Cristina Iaia worked for 14 years at La Perla before stepping out on her own. Just six years ago, lingerie was dominated by lots of straps and one-upmanship with the small thong or string. Brands like
Lola Luna/Luxxa, I.D. Sarrieri, and Cristina Iaia led the way. Each added a lot of flair to their collections. Iaia was very fond of the layered string, multiple waist bands, and asymmetric lines.

Currently, all of the stockists carrying Cristina Iaia have the lines on deep discount. I can’t find anything newer than 2006 and can’t find any recent news from the designer.

Find whatever remains of Cristina Iaia inventory at these retailers:

  • Studio Europe
  • Azzuma
  • Tanga
  • eBay

If you have any news or know what Ms Iaia is doing now, please leave a comment.

Cazar.de – Lingerie shopping in Germany?

March 5, 2007 by Mandolina

Cristina Iaia at cazarGermany might not be the most famous of lingerie countries, but they are famous for their retailers… People from all over Europe go to Germany to buy all kinds of high quality gear, for example because of their lower tax-rates. Charly sent me the cazar.de website, and I’ve decided to give it a go and see how it goes…

First off: their stocklist. They’ve got loads and loads and loads of brands and a great selection of styles. The bigger names (Parah, Princesse tam tam, Lejaby, Huit, Guia La Bruna, …) are combined with some great and excitingCristina Iaia at cazar.de smaller brands like Nafytoo and Lola Luna. To be honest: you can spend hours browsing their stocklist and not even come close to seeing everything… You’ll think you’ve seen it all, and then suddenly pieces from brands they never mention pop up on your screen… Great stuff! (The photo’s attached are from Cristina Iaia’s collection in stock at cazar.de!)

Prices are very competitive, with a great selection of items on sale at all times. We’ll be zooming in on some of these pieces in the next few days because they are so very interesting…

The order process? I’ll keep you posted! I’m doing an order today, just to see if this one lives up to the promising expectations! 😀
