Usually all of the lingerie sales are on our sales page, but seeing as we haven’t mentioned Glamorous Amorous as much as they deserve in the past few weeks, their fantastic november sale does get an extra mention on the blog too! Up to 75% off on labels such as Valisere, Spoylt, Ayten Gasson, Damaris, Beau Bra and Roberto Cavalli! Click the image below to check out the pieces! 🙂
You all know I’m a big fan of Ayten Gasson’s work, and whenever she comes out with new pieces, they’ll probably end up on the front page of our little lingerie blog here. I think Ayten’s luxurious handmade pieces look even better than last time, especially the AVA line, which I could just eat up: French lace, decadent silk and the girly bikini bra look. GIMIE!! 😀
Another absolute winner is the Mae line: a gorgeous vintage-inspired bralette, 100% black silk and lace with delicate cream lace detailing and ribbon bows. A little naughty! 😉 There’s a cami to go along, but I’m more into the bralette myself.
The good news is: TLP favorite La Magia stocked the whole collection, and has loads of yummy photos to gaze at, if the reasonably high (yet fair) prices aren’t for your budget…
Lewes East Sussex based boutique Oyster Lingerie, a true luxury lingerie store, has just launched a brand new web shop! The key words at Oyster Lingerie are clearly luxury, burlesque, selection and intimacy, and the pieces they’ve added to their online store are true (yet obviously not cheap) beauties by designers such as Madame V, Ayten Gasson, Myla, Ophelia Fancy, Spoylt and What Katie Did!
You really should check the oysterlingerie.co.uk website yourself — as there’s so much more to find on there. The photo’s below are from a recent photoshoot done at the boutique, and it all just looks…. GREAT! 😀
I’m not sure whether or not Oyster Lingerie is planning on expanding their online range, but let’s hope so, because their taste in decadent pieces looks extremely exciting!
Ayten Gasson, the silk-loving designer we interviewed just a few weeks ago, is having a good first few months of 2007, I’m sure! Her pieces have just been added to the ever so great Glamorous Amorous boutique – hopefully meaning she’ll get noticed by a lot more people!
The good news: the prices in sterling are very competitive. These are superb-quality pieces, hand made, made with the the finest of Japanese silks and delicate French lace – in super-glam vintage style. Wearable but oh so decadent. Lovable lingerie so to speak, for price tags from +/- £40 for the Strawberry Frill Crossover Bra up to +/- £150 for the extraordinary Antique Shell Kimono, Bra and Knickers Set.
The bad news: the US$ isn’t picking up. Importing these fabulous pieces to the US will mean more than doubling the numbers (that’s pushing the price over $300) — which just isn’t fun for you US girls…
Anyway, check out the rest of the Ayten Gasson pieces over at Glam Am, I’m sure you’ll love them!
A newcomer at Glam Am this April is the Enamore by Ayten Gasson collection. From glamorousamorous.com: “As well as designing and making for her own label, Ayten Gasson has collaborated with fashion label Enamore by Jenny Ambrose to create a range of hand made lingerie using hemp blended with silk/cotton and vintage prints. The designs are inspired by vintage shapes focusing on knickers and soft bras with camisoles and kimonos to come later in summer.”
Well, all of these pieces are very special! They’re a combination of Ayten’s signature style (I’d describe it as Vintecadence 😉 ) and that little extra touch of…. something. I’d say it’s 95% Ayten, 5% something, though!
Take a look at this stunning Mon Bijou Crossover Bra, French Knickers and Eyemask Set – a dark chocolate hemp and silk crossover bra with pretty matching ribbon ties trimmed with high end blue lace, Silk French knickers with matching ribbon ties trimmed with vintage blue lace and a gorgeous eye mask made from a blend of hemp and silk.
Looking for something even more fabulous? Check out the Enamore Sensibella Camisole and Knickers Set made from 100% pure silk satin trimmed with light green delicate lace and ribbon – £90 of pure joy!
I know this isn’t for everyone’s budget. Hell, it’s not for my budget. But: wow!
