Remember the Agent Provocateur bodysuit we showed you on so many celebrities? We have found a great look for less if you lusted after the style, but not the pricetag. There are some differences (the neckline is lower and it doesn’t come with coordinating belt) but it the changes may not bother you if you can’t afford the original.
Last year, Agent Provocateur released the Season of the Witch collection, which included Iona, the leopard-print bodysuit. The bodysuit was popular at the time but is still making press months later. It seems to be quite a favorite of fashion spreads and celebrity outings!
First, we saw it on Daisy Lowe. She wore it on the runway and in the product photoshoot, and was also spotted wearing it to a Henry Holland party in September 2008:
That November, Lily Allen covered up a bit more with denim shorts:
Scarlett Johannson wore it in an Allure photoshoot for the December 2008 issue:
Arena dressed Freida Pinto in the bodysuit for their February 2009 issue:
In March, Christina Aguilera was brave enough to wear this skimpy number as an outfit to Perez Hilton’s birthday party:
Most recently, Katy Perry was featured in Esquire‘s May 2009 issue:
It’s steamy, there’s no doubt about that, but I’m surprised so many magazines chose to dress their models in the same way. If you’ve seen it on anyone else, let us know! Of the ladies pictured above, who do you think wears it the best?
Britney is on tour (she’s in London right now), and as usual there’s some… provocative outfits to help spice up the action. In these Circus shows, at one point Britney wears this breathtaking Lascivious bodysuit “Candy” from the Showgirls collection we mentioned back in April.
I think it’s great that for these European concerts, Britney’s wearing some more European outfits, and I’m sure the labels that were chosen to provide these are extremely excited about being in the spotlight.
The new Fall 2008 collection of Arianne has been announced! The aesthetic of this collection has definitely changed – earlier collections focused on romantic, frilly, and feminine styles punctuated by lace and crochet, but this new season has taken a turn to a trendier and fashion-forward side. The focus is on skimpier knickers, patterns (especially animal prints), and metallic threading. I have to admit, I miss the sweeter side of Arianne.
We see a glimpse of the old look in the “Christelle” styles, but the brand has taken a turn for the most part. I don’t recognize Arianne in this collection, but I think that fresh beginning is exactly what they want. Each style has a few difference coordinating pieces like camisoles, long-sleeve tops, thongs, chemises, lounge pants, and even dresses. You can see all the styles on the website.
And we certainly can’t forget the teddies and bodysuits! They make up a large part of this recent Arianne runway show during Miami Fashion Week. We’ve been talking about the bodysuit trend on the forum recently. What do you think about them?

This world reknown and popular brand is a natural fit for the industry. The collection features bras, panties, corsets, bodysuits, and sleepwear reminiscent of the early days of Playboy. Sassy and sophisticated, this collection is a winner because it not only uses soft and wearable fabrics, but also amuses the eye with playful detailing and a rich color palette.
