December 5, 2009 by Press Release

Small WonderSmall Wonder is a new internet lingerie shop that specializes in selling lingerie and accessories in cup sizes AA – C. According to shop owner Jolene Gillespie, “due to the growing number of lingerie companies focusing on larger cup sizes, many petite women are feeling left out with little choice of bras in their sizes.”

Small Wonder aims to change that and make those petite women feel beautiful, sexy and feminine. Due to the focus on bigger breasts in society, it is important to make every woman feel sexy and attractive. Small Wonder is a great new place for petite women to shop for intimates. Small Wonder is currently stocking a select range of high quality brands with more being stock in time for 2010.

After Eden, Rosy Lingerie and the highly popular Glamorous Bra Straps (recently seen on Alesha Dixon and Jamelia) are already available, with Panache, Bassoni and Little Minx to be ready by the end of the year. What Katie Did expands Striptease Satin range!

November 19, 2009 by Press Release

What Katie Did eau-de-nil Striptease
What Katie Did eau-de-nil Striptease

Have you ever felt that vintage clothing and accessories often carry so much more mystique and glamour than their modern counterparts? Lingerie design house What Katie Did are no strangers to vintage elegance, creating, as they do, collections of faux vintage underpinnings that would not look out of place in a Golden Era film-star’s armoire. But even the colors of the past have names that conjure up images of old Hollywood stars: why say dusky pink when you can say ‘ashes of roses’, ‘turtle dove’ is far more romantic than gray, or ‘vermilion’ – so much more evocative than plain old red? What Katie Did feel the same, which is why, this November, they are expanding their hugely popular Striptease collection with a brand new, but very vintage color. Lingerie devotees will now be able to embrace their inner starlet in gloriously named eau-de-nil satin. You could call it ‘aqua’ or ‘duck egg blue’ if you like, but that doesn’t sound nearly so glamorous!

Striptease was inspired by the legendary burlesque artistes of the 1940s and 50s, with pieces names after the famed Gypsy Rose Lee and Sally Rand. It is the ultimate mix-and-match lingerie collection, all in deliciously soft satin; with the new eau-de-nil shade joining the classic black, peach, claret and purple already available. Knickers come bedecked with ballerina ruffles, or cute, fluted legs; the Gypsy Rose bralet and bestselling side tie knickers are sexy yet sophisticated, perfectly evoking their namesake; and the Lilian bralet and bloomers resemble nothing so much as a silent film star’s most saucy smalls. Accessorized with matching garters and eye masks, the Striptease collection works equally well as sleepwear, boudoir glamour or even as burlesque costumes! It’s as practical as it is pretty, and as naughty as it is nice.

With Christmas and Valentine’s Day just around the corner, vintage vixens and girls-next-door alike are encouraged to start dropping hints to their significant others as soon as possible. Or perhaps an even bigger hint is needed… for what could be more sophisticated on your wedding night than elegant eau-de-nil?

Lavinia Firenze Lingerie: New Brand

November 18, 2009 by Press Release

Today, we introduce you to an exciting new lingerie label from Italy: Lavinia Firenza.

They want to represent the excellence of “Made in Italy” in the lingerie sphere and give consumers the possibility to distinguish themselves from others. In order to reach these goals Lavinia Firenze exclusively rely on the best Italian suppliers existing in the market, both for the materials used in the making of their lingerie, and for the artisan workmanship. All collections are limited editions – and Lavinia Firenze wants all collections to look like they are…

The first L.F. creations are divided into three collections. The first, “Collezione B-Up”, is a technical one. A sort of “framework” to shape the figure without the shapewear look. A lifting that tries to achieve a Brazilian-style curve combined with pretty and sexy panties.

The second and the third collection represent the best “Made in Italy” can do. A teamwork between the finest of fabrics with the best on the production-end results in an attractive, fascinating, gorgeous and comfortable collection.

Due to the artisan methods, Lavinia Firenze is able to create made-to-measure items. More information (and footage) on laviniafirenze.it.

Lisca Lingerie & Swimwear Catwalk Show ’09

November 10, 2009 by Press Release

At this year’s much-anticipated Lisca‘s fashion event in Hotel Union’s Union Hall in Ljubljana the fashion trends in lingerie and swimwear for the Spring/Summer 2010 Collection were presented. This time fruity flavours intertwined with refined golden whiteness and transparent black in artistic images created by Lisca’s designer Suzana Gorišek (lingerie and swimwear Lisca Selection, Prestige collection), Marjana Cešnjevar (Lisca swimwear), Melita Letnar (Lisca Fashion collection), and Maja Ratajc (lingerie and swimwear collection Cheek by Lisca).

As you’ll see – the label has taken its inspiration for the high-profile runway show from Victoria’s Secret‘s catwalk shows – and I think that’s just awesome!

defile Prestige by Lisca

The sophisticated and fatally seductive swimsuit collection Lisca Selection will be glowing in refined violet, graffiti and black, flirting in details with ancient goddesses. Elegant swimwear Lisca Fashion will convince with a discreet graphic print and a pinch of golden on the black foundation, ensuring a seductive elegance also on the beach.

New for the upcoming summer season is the colourful Cheek by Lisca swimwear collection marked by fruity flavours with a sense of nostalgia for those old colourful fishing boats; in yellow, green and coral shades.

The romantic story was continued by beauties in Cheek by Lisca lingerie, reminiscent of a Spring morning in the gentle spray of raindrops – mango, green and yellow will not only be an excellent choice for lingerie this Spring, but also a great choice for matching pyjamas.

Lisca Prestige 1 Lisca Prestige

The elegance of the Lisca Fashion lingerie collection has blossomed this year in gentle rosy shades of lilac and pink, also appropriate for everyday pampering as well as wedding nights with its lady-like draping, applications and delicate embroidery.

In the coming year the bold designs of the lingerie collection Lisca Selection will be in the emerald green colour wrapped in precious silk, while the attractive black will breathe in the transparency of the tulle and embroidery.

Lisca’s imagery was completed by the exclusive sensuality of the Prestige collection. The artistic creations were designed specially for the evening by Lisca’s designer Suzana Gorišek, and inspired with the flirtatiousness of their baroque luxury and modern futurism with the most daring low cuts from the finest materials. Plissé, silk, organza, handmade French lace, handsewn flower applications, Swarowski crystal stones, stitching and transparency… because seduction is an art.
