While I think the ad produces the shock value the company is seeking, I personally found it to be ineffective. For me, it was rather tedious and long and I wasn’t really sure where it was going. I know that was the point but still, maybe it was more exciting in person than watching online.
Because the video is so poor and the music was horendous, the video really is not a selling feature. I wonder how many people the ad really attracted. If this was a “real” live event, then who really saw the demonstration.
I do not think it will make me think of the brand the next time I shop for lingerie.
