Jesus Fernandez Retro Collection

November 23, 2009 by Bruna

Designer Jesus Fernandez takes us back to a time of beauty and glamour with the campaign for his new “Retro” collection, which seems to have gained a lot of inspiration from the flappers of the 1920’s. Fernandez used antique colors such as salmon, pale green, faded pink, beige and dark blue to create the gorgeous and delicate lingerie, which is topped off with plenty of feminine bows and ribbons.

“Retro means for Jesus Fernandez the femininity, the smoothness [and] the most precious garments,” reads Fernandez’s Web site. “In this collection we incorporated silk and a wide variety of Italian fabrics such as satin, musbiel, bisou, jacquards [and] French lace.”

Jesus Fernandez lingerie is sold in countries all over the world, but in the U.S. you can only find it in New York. One of the retailers is Azaleas located in Manhattan, which sells the bras for about $65 and bottoms for approximately $30. Check out Jesus-Fernandez.com.ar for other points of sale.
