The lingerie brand La Perla has launched a new website. The company is aiming to bridge the gap between the e-commerce brand experience and shopping in their retail stores. The CEO, James Gardner had the comment, “One of the fairly common challenges facing brands with the previous generation of e-commerce sites is that the brand and shopping experiences are two separate experiences.”
La Perla also wanted to provide a consistent online experience globally. They have added high resolution imagery, a zoom feature to see a detailed product view, and a link to the company’s real-time stock inventory.
