Last week, we showed you pictures from the latest Dior runway show. At the end of that post, I told you to check out Secrets In Lace for similar styles because many of the outfits on the catwalk reminded me of the brand…
We just heard from SIL and, as it turns out, all the stockings you saw on the models were from Secrets In Lace. Check out their website to purchase some of your own! Want to read a review before you buy?

This is complete rubbish! Secrets in Lace don’t actually manufacture stockings but simply purchase them from a variety of sources. The stockings are made by a French company (which makes sense as Dior is a French company) who also supply us (What Katie Did), Agent Provocater et al. Why make out Secrets in Lace to be something they’re not? It’s annoying enough to find them being very ‘inspired’ by our designs, let alone taking the credit for Dior’s couture show!
Katie – SIL does have exclusive designs and quite a few SIL-branded stockings (with their name right on the welt). I was under the impression that they supplied the Dior show. I’ll look into this.
Their stockings are mostly manufactured by Cervin, with some by Eleganti in the UK, both of whom do extensive private label work. So the stockings are the same but are most likely taken straight from Cervin, as they already have strong links with the haute couture market having provided custom colours for all sorts of labels before.
Generally speaking when you see a stocking with a brand name woven into the top, its been made by Cervin – its a specialty of theirs.
It was my mistake to say that SIL supplied the stockings – I reread my correspondance with them and they didn’t say that they supplied them. However, Secrets In Lace does sell the stockings that were in the show so anyone who is looking for the stockings can find them from SIL.
I don’t know who supplied the Dior show but I do know that it was not the manufacturer you referenced.
