Lisca is a Slovenian lingerie brand. It was formed in 1955 principally to mend stockings. Over the decades, Lisca has become a very large manufacturer of lingerie. There are two brands: Lisca and Cheek. The latter is aimed at young women using it as underwear or outerwear. The company is focused in the former eastern block countries of Europe with retail presence in Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, and the Ukraine.
Lisca has ambitions much larger than the regions they already cover. The corporate site is available in a staggering 45 languages – including Western Europe and Middle East. They host annual fashion shows that look as grand and impressive as anything in the US (except for the over-the-top Victoria Secret shows broadcast on national networks.) The company is successful in landing top Eastern Europe models and is quite new-media-savvy. There are dozens of Lisca videos on You Tube including Nadiya Bychkova in Cheek.
