Maud and Marjorie Create Parisian Lingerie

April 27, 2009 by Rene

Maud & Marjorie is a design shop in Paris it is also the name of the two women designers at the heart of the firm. The two met at ESMOD International Fashion University. When they began in 2005, they chose the less common way of focusing on their website first before a boutique or store. Four years later, this choice is common place with even more options like Etsy allowing hobbyists and enthusiasts to grow a business from even simpler beginnings. Both Maud and Marjorie are designers and they each design different parts of their brand. Marjorie created the “Haute Lingerie” line, while Marjorie created the “Beach Lingerie” line.

These pieces are created in very limited quantities or a bespoke service. The website doesn’t allow direct commerce, instead, they encourage the shopper to email.

Thanks for ordering on www.maudandmarjorie.com ! Please give us details about your request: References, Size, colors, personnal details … we will contact you within 48hrs. Best regards, Maud and Marjorie.

Direct sales as well as bespoke is also available from French Lingerie Shop. Maud and Marjorie offer pieces that are quite uncommon in most lingerie lines including skirts and pants.

All of the pieces are handmade in Paris using materials expected from top lingerie. Pricing reflects the materials and efforts starting at €98.00 and reaching €285.00.

I really like all the new traditonal-inspired lingerie that’s becoming trendy again. These bloomer-type pieces are so adorable, along with the new Dita Von Teese burlesque lingerie that’s getting so popular.
