We just got word (and photos!) from Amoralia about their new Spring/Summer collection for 2009. Being one of the largest maternity lingerie brands out there — we’re obviously psyched about their newest creations. This is what they’re saying:
“The revamped Embrace strapless bra is perfect under halter-neck tops and strapless dresses, whereas Second Skin, a plunging moulded microfibre bra is perfect to show off new curves and cleavages.
The Embrace maternity strapless bra (photo below) now features removable fabric or clear straps that can be worn halterneck, one shouldered or crossed-over. The rest of the collection, made from soft Italian breathable microfibre and lined in ultra-soft bamboo includes a nursing cami, nursing bra, hipster brief and thong and is available in two elegant colourways; cameo – a soft nude – and practical black. Uniquely, the nursing bra features a patented magnetic clip for discrete, fuss-free feeding.”
“The Second Skin bra (pic below) now features removable foam pads – perfect for achieving that smooth T-shirt look – and thanks to its cross over front, is plunging enough to be worn under deep V tops and dresses. The lightweight, deliciously soft microfibre makes it super comfortable on a hot summer’s day. The hipster short is cut to curve snugly under the bump and smooth away any unwanted lumps under figure-hugging dresses.”
“With a wealth of research into the mums-to-be market, Amoralia understands that pregnancy doesn’t mean an end to style. In fact most women want to feel as feminine as possible while enjoying their growing bump. It’s no surprise then that the brand counts Hollywood stars Toni Collette and Rachel Weisz, as well as supermodels Karen Elson and Laura Bailey amongst its fans.”
Photos thanks to Amoralia!
Thank you so much for doing the posts on maternity lingerie!! I found out that I am expecting in November so I have already been on the look out for maternity things! I had no clue that there was cute lingerie out there before your posts!! I looked everywhere for stuff when i was pregnant with my daughter but ended up settling for something that would work for when I am not pregnant because I couldn’t find anything.
