Tara Grinna Swimwear

March 6, 2009 by Rene

Last year, Brenda introduced the TLP readers to Kristi Grinna bikinis. Tara Grinna is her mother.
Tara Grinna began her career in Palm Beach, Florida. She designed couture swimwear for the rich and famous. In 1987, she moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. With her mother Eleanor Langley as her partner, Tara opened La Plage swimwear. At La Plage she continues to design and sew couture swimwear.

Her husband Rune joined the business in 1991 and managed the launch of the Tara Grinna Swimwear label. Grinna creates styles to flatter every figure. All swimsuits are made in the USA.

At the store in Myrtle Beach, they carry over 10,000 swim suits. The store carries all bra sizes, long torso, mature styles, mastectomy, plus sizes, maternity, children’s and preteen bathing suits along with bikinis, cover ups, resort wear, and custom swimwear. This is the Cherry Cheesecake on the left. It comes in a halter bra, knee length pareo wrap, slider halter, full length pareo wrap, high wasited bottom, underwire top, and the pictured twist tie bandeau. Prices range from $74 to $146 for the pieces. On the right, the Black Dahlia. It comes in the ring side hipster bottom, underwire and normal cup bra, halters, wraps, skirt, and even some pants. Pictured is the surplice with soft cups for $138.

On the left is the Hypnotize Me. Again, it is available in skirts, tunics, various bottoms, and many tops. Pictured is a mixed set from the collection. Each piece is around $75. On the right, is the Ozzies Peach. Pictured is the bandini which is $82.

The company offers many more pieces and it is worth stopping by the online store front to get a feel for the various cuts and styles. There is an eBay store that is run by the company. There are plenty of great bargains to be head. In addition, there are normal sale offerings at the company store.

Nice stuff on swimwear .But Quality aspect should not be pushed to corner for style and

fitting while buying swimwear. Make sure that the swim suit you are purchasing has no rips

or tears and is also free from manufacturing defects related to buttons and stitching.

Always go for a swim wear made up of quality fabrics

It’s nice to know that you can purchase swimwear made in the USA and not in Asia. It’s also nice to see a beautiful variety of colors and patterns in this swimwear. Lovely creatons.
