New York’s Lady Gaga, the pop singer and songwriter (she’s written for the Pussycat Dolls), is known for her eye-catching and skimpy outfits. So when she was shopping with stylist and fashion guru Mark Heyes in London this week, it wasn’t a surprise that she picked out some knickers to wear at her shows. The surprising part was the style she picked – she shunned racy Agent Provocateur panties and picked up a dozen pairs of Flexees instead. Flexees is a shapewear line by Maidenform, and certainly isn’t the first brand that comes to mind when most people think of “skimpy.” Of course, judging by her past outfits (like the one shown here) she might just wear her Flexees as outerwear, so maybe it wasn’t such a modest choice after all…
If you have the bravery of Lady Gaga, or if you are looking for something to smooth lumps and bumps under your clothes, you can find Flexees at Figleaves (US/UK), Bare Necessities, and HerRoom.
I simply could not agree with Lady Gaga more. The Flexees have shaping and smoothing characteristics that are unparalleled at the price. Additionally, the fabric has a smooth touch that clingy dresses just float over. I blogged about them late last year. Any of you who are looking to really beautifully feature the derierre might find my notes useful.
