Evlove Intimates, the custom lingerie you loved and wanted to win in our Valentine’s Day Contest, needs your help! They need votes so they can win a $10,000 prize that will make their custom underpinnings more readily available to all of you! TLP just got this email from Evlove:
I was recently turned on to a great website called IdeaBlog where you can submit your business challenge and compete for a $10,000 prize. Who couldn’t use $10K??? But the timing of this couldn’t be better because I’ve got some fun projects in the works for Evlove and this extra money could really help me accomplish them. Things are going really well right now and I’d like to keep the momentum going – with your help I can do just that!
So here’s the deal….all you have to do is vote for me through the link below. The way the contest works is that there are 3 “sprints” for every week of July and the last week is the final showdown for 8 finalists. The first 3 sprints determine who is a finalist and the winner is determined at the last day of the month by total votes. I need your vote!! You do have to register on the site (I know, I’m sorry) but it only takes a minute to do. You can only vote once unless I make it as a finalist and then you vote again.
My request is two-fold: 1.) please take a minute to vote for me here: http://ideablob.com/ideas/2606-Design-Your-Own-Lingerie-with-E
And 2.) Please forward this on to everyone you know. And those of you who Twitter, I could really use your help with your network there. The quicker this passes on, the better chance I have of making it to the final showdown. Thank you in advance for this – I’m so excited to keep spreading the love with panties!!!! Ha!!
Evlove needs your votes before July 7 (that’s this coming Monday), so be sure to head to the link above and vote! You do have to register for the site to vote, but you can easily avoid spam. Once you’ve registered, log in and go to your “Settings” tab. At the bottom, uncheck all of the boxes and you will be removed from all the mailing lists. Simple!
What will Evlove do if they win?
Half of the $10K will go towards expanding my manufacturing and production, which I’m so proud to say is done right in Chicago. Due to the custom nature of my product, I need to hire my own sewers to work with my ever-changing product line. Traditional manufacturers want nothing to do with me! The costs of training new people is a one to two month process in order to prepare them for the product and this obviously affects my cash flow. The other half of the $10K will go towards developing a new program to be implemented in lingerie boutiques nationwide (super excited about this) – I’m going to give my customers the option to walk into a local store and design their own undies on the spot!
I think they’ve made a pretty good case. I’m convinced! 😉
