In this series, TLP will narrow our coverage of lingerie around the globe and focus on the country of Poland. Poland has a long history of textile manufacturing and since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Poland has been embracing market economies. Freed from quotas and mandated manufacturing, many Polish textile companies are stepping on to the world stage.
The Lilie Lilieu is one of the more intriguing offerings in our survey of Polish lingerie. The site is available in English, French, Russian, and Polish. It begins with a generic soft filter photograph and some odd statements about sex and the Lilie Lilieu collection making women feel more feminine. Inside, you’ll find three collections: sex, night, day. With only glimpses of the pieces, Lilie Lilieu shows a series of pieces that remind me of the 2004 Guia La Bruna collection.
This from the Day collection.
This is the Night collection.
The Guia La Bruna collection from 2004.
There is no company store, so pricing is hard to discern. I hope this brand finds wider distribution because I think they may have a fairly unique offering in the Polish market. Photos from Lili and Guia La Bruna.
Lilie’s website seems to have vanished?
I think you may be right. That is too bad. They had some very cute kits.
