Dear Subscriber:

Recent changes in the retail sector have prompted Intimate Apparel Business magazine to cease publication with the May/June issue.

Accordingly, much of IAB’s editorial content will now be absorbed by the magazine’s sister publication, AVN Novelty Business (ANB), which will be expanding its already robust coverage of lingerie, apparel, and accessories. ANB will also publish stand-alone costume and lingerie supplements that will receive wide distribution at key trade shows and among targeted IAB subscribers. These supplements will be geared towards boutique and online retailers whose inventories include sexy apparel and sensual products. Where the lingerie and personal enhancement markets meet, that’s where we will be.

Strategic decisions like these are not always easy to make, but in the end our goal remains the same: to provide essential news and information to our readers, and unparalleled opportunities for our advertisers. We believe our restructuring efforts will allow us to do that even more successfully.

If you wish to subscribe to Adult Novelty Business, you may do so by going online to http://www.anbmag.com.

This magazine was an industry trade magazine, but had an aggressive online presence putting their magazine into an all Flash format. We’ll miss you IAB.

I was so disappointed when I heard IAB was merging. I loved that magazine – and I’m sure it won’t carry the same amount of classy & classic styles now that it’s in ANB.

    Agreed!

Remember when you were in it Krista! I am disappointed too. They had good articles that were relevent to the industry. It is very hard to find quality information about lingerie that isn’t tied into the “adult” industry. I’ll miss them too.

Does anyone know if there May/June 2008 will be out on stands or is that it for IAB Magzine?

I enjoyed that magazine’s very informative articles. Is there another magazine that is similar?

    Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Veronica Castro
