Ke’Koqueta began as many maternity lines do – the founder, Diane Benko, was in the middle of a pregnancy when she couldn’t find exactly what she wanted. She could find maternity clothing she liked, but the selection of intimate apparel was severely lacking. So, she founded the maternity line Ke’Koqueta (which means “how coquettish or flirtatious”) to help pregnant women feel “sexy, stylish, and comfortable.” The line started distributing recently in Fall 2007 with babydolls, camis, pajamas, chemises, gowns, and slips. The Fall/Winter ’08 collection will even be featuring a maternity thong with buckles on the side – so very pregnant women don’t have to go through the lopsided torture of trying to bend down to put their panties on! By the end of the month, the site will be updated with a new collection and easy access to online purchasing. We’ll let you know as soon as the updates are complete!
