I mentioned the Lejaby F/W 2007 collection before, now I got this press release off the Lejaby people, and obviously wanted to share!
Devilishly rich hues mixed with bold embroidery, Lejaby’s new collection effortlessly infuses classic design with daringly contemporary motifs. Inspired by Napoleonic military design, Lejaby’s sculpted range juxtaposes masculine military lines with luscious feminine lace and voile. The contrast of style, fabrics and colours – military style gold embroideries and ornamental trimmings mixed with light and simple transparent fabrics – unite to celebrate the assertive woman.
This range will include a full cup, half cup bra, and a moulded foam half cup with delicate embroidery detail, matched with either a mini string, tanga, brief or boxer and will be available in shades of black, brandy or rich burgundy. There is also a beautiful halter neck bustier in this range. Available in black velvet, the bustier mixes subtle features on a military theme with ultra feminine mousseline, bows and a corset effect belt which can be tightened at the waist.
Mystery and romantic charm surrounds Lejaby’s ‘Baroque’ inspired collection- think striking wrought iron motifs and delicate black Crystal. The colour ‘black’ plays an important role in the dark, mysterious styling of this range. Transparent precious Chantilly lace against skin, coupled with rich guipure embroidery, decorated with lavish ribbon detail, creates a seductive rebellious effect.
This lingerie range is available in dove grey mixed with brown satin ribbon, ruby red with violet ribbon and black with gold ribbon. Styles include a full cup and half cup padded bra, as well as a new moulded foam bra which has an ultra flat, folded neckline without stitching for complete invisibility. These bras can be matched with either a tanga, mini thong, brief and high brief with removal suspenders.
