A few weeks ago one of our forum visitors asked us a question about whether or not there were specific bras or lingerie brands focussing women who have had breast enlargements. We responded we were quite sure that wasn’t the case… I didn’t know conventionally designed bras simply don’t fit certain enlarged breasts because the shape of the bra cup, underwires, and connectors do not compliment the spherical shape of the breast anymore.
There’s good news now, though. Le Mystère, in collaboration with board certified plastic surgeon David Brothers, have been working hard on their Le Mystere No.9 collection which is the first ever lingerie collection to be designed for women who had breast augmentation. “Le Mystère No. 9 is an elegant collection of bras that compliment the unique changes in shape and size that occur after a breast augmentation. The result is a bra that offers the ultimate in unprecedented fit, support, comfort, and style.”, they say.
“The Le Mystère No. 9 collection will be manufactured in standard band sizes and consist of five bra styles – elegant all over lace, seamless t-shirt, sexy sheer, convertible strapless, and front closure…enough to replenish your entire wardrobe!”
The photo’s we’ve attached here are the only ones we currently have, but I promise there’s more to come! As soon as we have pics on actual models we’ll post them straight away!
While it is true that right after surgery for a few weeks, the enlarged breasts do not fit many of the ‘standard’ bras, after the initial swelling has gone down, the person can wear any bra she fancies.
Coming from Latin America, where bra implants are common, most surgeons recommend to go for triangle bras.
A woman with implants (provided shes has not gone into a FF cup) does not generally need support or wires… a nice triangle bra is the best she can wear.
So, for all those with implants, wear triangle bras. We have a nice selection of them at White-Orchid.com
Regards,
I have tried on the LeMystere and have to tell you, they do not fit me well. If you have moderate profile implants they are OK but I have found that if you have moderate plus or high profile implants the cups don’t fit right. Fredericks of Hollywood, Calvin Klein and Natori make the best bras for ladies with implants in my opinion. Natori is expensive but FOH has sales all the time and CK are moderately priced. I have reviewed some on my blog.
