The P&S site has LOADS of Jesus Fernandez pieces. A breathtaking Paris Babydoll (shown below in the horizontal pic, my goodness!), the Eastern-inspired Tokio halter triangle set, the Sicily push-up, an extraordinary Transilvania velvet & lace set and the Mediterraneo set.

The official Mint Siren website introduces the brand as follows: “Mint Siren was created in 2005 by the Swedish designer Josefine Wing, and quickly became a favorite for many vixens around the world. Using high quality fabrics like silk satins and chiffon, deep pile cotton velvets, rich wools and power stretch netting Mint Siren has created a style that marries romantic retro flavor with modern fashion. There are obvious ties with traditions of burlesque, but Mint Siren offers styles that invite to be used with your regular wardrobe.”

When we look at the high resolution photos we’ve gotten, we can only be amazed. The pure luxury of these pieces is so obvious. They’re not cheap — but seeing as you’re clearly getting value for money that’s not even a bad thing. You’re getting a total package; quality and the x-factor. I can only agree with Faire Frou Frou’s Alison Rubke when she says: “Her [Josefine Wing] philosophy is to create flattering, sensual clothing with a retro flavor for the modern woman. Her brand is described as being lavish and provocative; designed for ladies with a passion for extravagance. It’s about having fun with your femininity.”

I’m pretty much convinced. The label isn’t limited to lingerie though, so their website is well worth a visit. Check ‘m out — and if you end up buying something, tell us how much you liked it on the TLP forums!

1. They’re warm-colored. Both the Flores as the ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING Evita collection have dark winter-like colors, but are still very sexy (I love the sheer velvet and lace trimming on the cups!)
2. They’re luxurious, high-end sets — not cheap, and yes that’s a good thing!
3. The sets look great. These are not just pretty bras, these are a full-on winners.

I’m sounding hyper-positive, but really it’s all because of the Evita pieces. I’m not the biggest fan of the prints on the Flores bra — but I know a lot of floral-liking women who’d love these… The key word is: know your woman!

Anyway — prices are $300+ per set, which pretty much means I better give up hope now. haha! Merry Christmas shopping!

But, her biggest commercial succes to date was her affordable swimwear and lingerie line that was sold in New Look stores all over England. These collections date back to the end of 2006 (and the first months of this year), but hadn’t made it onto TLP before — so I decided to go back into time a bit, and post the photos here anyway!

The lingerie collection was very sober, yet elegant and classy. Prices were at the lower end of the spectrum: £5-10 for thongs/briefs, £15/25 for bras and about £25 for the matching kimonos. Affordable!

I’m not sure whether or not New Look and Kelly Brook are planning new collections (they have a new clothing line, but hey, that’s not our thing!), but if they ever decide to go at it again, we’ll be here reporting!

By the way — for those in the dark about Matalan — at Matalan.co.uk you’ll be able to discover Matalan is an excellent budget lingerie choice…

Prices? As far as I know they’re all under £10!

For you smaller size ladies, the Velvet and Tulle No-Wire Bra is an interesting combination of colors and textures and is a sweet treat for only $12.99!

Both of these are on sale on the US version of the website and are going quickly, so check it out today before your size is gone!

The UK website has lots of goodies as well! This satin-trimmed triangle bra (up through size D!) will only set you back £21! With the matching suspender thong, you are sure to drive someone wild!

Houston seems to be playing it down a little bit. The NYP article concludes:

Houston’s rep, Nancy Seltzer, said the sale of 335 items had nothing to do with Houston’s back-tax issues. “Many artists get rid of the old stage equipment and costuming they don’t need any more. That is what is happening,” she told Page Six.
