Enamore Lingerie for Fall/Winter 2009-2010

Enamore is delighted to announce that this winter, they’ll be launching their first line of underwired bras! Enamore is known for producing their fashion from the finest organic and sustainable fabrics including hemp, cotton, Soya and silk sourced from accredited suppliers. The label has an extensive history in lingerie, but is only now really “completing” their range of underwear with underwired bras.

This development has been a long time in the making at Enamore and Managing Director Jennifer Ambrose is very proud of the results. The first 2 styles available will be Lady Coco (black with ivory trims, top of the image on the right!) and Bedrock (leopard print with black trim, third line of the image) both made from a soft bamboo jersey. The bras are all beautifully cut and sewn in Wales.

Enamore is starting this line in B, C & D cup sizes and 32, 34 & 36 back sizes, however they told us they do hope to expand the range to cater for larger sizes in 2010.

I’ve tried these Intense bras myself and I’m a fan. The underwires Marie Jo uses for this line (yes, underwired sports bras!) are so well-placed that you have no clue they’re even there. The wires do keep to help your figure look great under any kind of tight sports garments though, while providing excellent support.

The new bras, launching at stores on July 15, have a new underwire encased in three layers of fabric for increased softness – which means you get true comfort and support with fit and flexibility! Breadth of Serenity is just that indeed! A clean, white double layered mesh is topped with a vibrant, royal purple scrolling embroidery, which immediately transported me to the Mediterranean in my mind! The group has something to offer everyone. The lightly lined balconette bra accomodates cups A-D, while the lightly padded full coverage bra fits C-F cups. Both feature the delicate, scalloped straps as well as the coordinating organza bow with a crystal tear drop charm.

Bottoms include a g-string hipster, bikini brief, and boyshort. All of which include the organza bow detailing in addition to their own unique elements including additional embroidery, pleating, and a key hole. In true Pfiff style, you’ll not only look fabulous from the front, but from the back as well! The group is complete with both a camisole and chemise. Mix and match to create new, opulent looks every night of the week.

For the ultimate in sophistication, Dramatic Entrances pairs a soft, tactel microfiber with Leavers lace and mesh. The palest green is accented with an inky black in a group reflecting the Art Deco style. Again, amazing detailing is featured throughout and sizes A-F are provided options through the fashionable demi padded push up bra and lightly lined full coverage bra.

The tanga features a unique, lined mesh cut out detail in the back as well as a double banded side while the wide-side thong features detachable garters! For more coverage, choose the hipster. Additional options include a lightly padded underwire bustier and a chemise with an adjustable tie back. This group is so fantastic and detailed, it could have been called Dramatic Exits as well!

All styles come in nude or black and accomodate sizes A – E (making for 25 different sizes!). Retailing at $75 for the Mini and $85 for the Ultimate, this product is truly worth the investment! Because this amazing shapewear garment is brand new, it is only available online at the Shapeez website or the As We Change (a San Diego based e-retailer) site. Conturelle features two sets of ranges – the never out of stock basics and the fashion collections. Some of my favorites include the Provence, Arabesque, Maroc, and Reflexion ranges.

Provence features femininity at its finest. This range, made of elastic tulle, is noted for its delicate embroidery on the bras as well as on the straps. Well-constructed, as well as beautiful, the bras create a beautiful silhouette in white, black, vanilla, or magnolia mauve. Complete the look with a thong, mini briefs, or bikini briefs.

Arabesque provides a sophisticated and classy look and is marked by its exquisite embroidery. I particularly love the look of the molded bra which is adorned with guipure embroidery on the center of the bra as well as the straps! Divine! Maroc is unique in its own right. Made of sheer, elastic tulle, this range stands out for its classic diamond pattern. My favorite piece is this jaw-dropping Queen Triangle Bra made from the most delicate sheer chantilly lace and sequin detail. It’s one of those pieces that is probably worth their $250+ price tag… What a stunner!

If this is what the 2008 lingerie year is going to be like — I’m a happy girl.

1. They’re warm-colored. Both the Flores as the ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING Evita collection have dark winter-like colors, but are still very sexy (I love the sheer velvet and lace trimming on the cups!)
2. They’re luxurious, high-end sets — not cheap, and yes that’s a good thing!
3. The sets look great. These are not just pretty bras, these are a full-on winners.

I’m sounding hyper-positive, but really it’s all because of the Evita pieces. I’m not the biggest fan of the prints on the Flores bra — but I know a lot of floral-liking women who’d love these… The key word is: know your woman!

Anyway — prices are $300+ per set, which pretty much means I better give up hope now. haha! Merry Christmas shopping!
