Thousand Dancers is Just Right for Summer

Have you guys heard of Thousand Dancers? I just discovered the label and I am impressed! The colors are bright and vibrant. The ruffled bloomers and high-waisted briefs remind me of old pin-up posters. The button-up crop top has such an easy, 70s-style sex appeal to it. And while the collections are diverse, they complement each other quite well and seem as if they would be endlessly mix-and-matchable. As the Thousand Dancers website says, “it’s flower power meets rock chic in underwear made for showing off.” And because it’s made in Brisbane, Australia, everything is designed with hot climates in mind-they use natural fibers and lightweight printing. That coupled with the juicy colors and easygoing styling make me immediately think of sweltering summer days.

After a successful debut of her Spring 2010 Collection, Brulee designer, Kristian Giambi, has just released a limited item Summer 2010 Collection. The Summer Collection will offer a sneak peek into the upcoming Fall season. Summer pieces will transition into additional colors and styles for Fall/Winter. Elle Macpherson Intimates Spring/Summer 2010

Elle Macpherson Intimates never ceases to amaze me! How they keep the great styles, colors, and patterns coming is beyond me. Spring/Summer 2010 is a lighthearted and fun collection featuring classic styles revamped in new color palettes as well as new silhouettes and patterns. Additionally, Elle’s D-G cup range has expanded to include even more flattering and flirty pieces for us full-cupped gals. No collection would be complete without the complementary afterwear chemises, camis, and culottes.

One of my new favorites is Tempting. The sassy leopard is a fresh take on animal print. Tempting is available in a contour bra, bikini, and thong. However, the true stunner is the chemise which features a sexy criss cross strapped back with a bonus black lace panel. To die for!

Starry Sky is a new take on the basic nude bra. Retailing at $50, this subtly sparkly contour bra is a great addition to any lingerie wardrobe. For those of you who want a bit more fashion forward fun, Starry Sky is also available in a festive Magenta. Choose from a corresponding bikini or thong in either color.

Elisabetta Canalis Wows in Cavalli’s New Lingerie Campaign

George Clooney’s new flame Elisabetta Canalis has been picked to appear in Roberto Cavalli’s new spring/summer 2010 sultry lingerie ad campaign, which was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Cavalli said he was positive Canalis was the right girl for the job.

“For my underwear collection I was inspired by a real woman, with appeal, charisma and sensuality. Elisabetta Canalis and I have been friends for a while now, we have already worked together in the past and so I was sure she was just perfect for enhancing the spirit of this advertising campaign…and I was not wrong! Her Mediterranean beauty and intense appeal interpret an intriguing super-feminine woman…the result is amazing!”

Damaris Lingerie Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

This morning started out just right. An e-mail from Damaris told me the brand’s new spring/summer 2010 collection is now available for purchasing on their Web site. You better hurry if you want to grab some of the beautiful and sexy pieces the new collection offers because it is selling out fast!

The collection includes seven groupings: Alluring (£108-£148); Reverie (£94-£148); Heavenly (£94-£105); Enchanting (£86-£210); Whispering (£94-£148); Dreaming (£81-£148); and Enticing (£94-£210). Apart from the high prices, it sounds fabulous doesn’t it? Well it is! See a look from each of the groupings below along with short descriptions written by Damaris.

Paris Hilton to Release Lingerie and Swimwear Line

According to Paris Hilton‘s website (ParisHilton.com), there will soon be a new swimwear and lingerie collection from the socialite’s line of clothing and accessories. It will include “panties and bras, bikinis and cover-ups that flatter and enhance your assets.” It sounds like there will be some push-up styles, which makes petite Paris the perfect celeb for the job. Way back in 2007, Paris told OK! Magazine about her plans:

“In my lingerie line, I have a bra that I designed for flat-chested girls and it makes your boobs look huge! People think it’s fake boobs. Everyone’s like, ‘Did you…?’ I’m like, ‘No!’ It makes me look like a double-D. I’m flat-chested compared to most girls in Hollywood.”

Although she has apparently been working on the line for several years, it is scheduled to be released this Spring/Summer and will be available in department and specialty stores across Europe and Asia.
