Lingerie Dement is a new line of lingerie held together not by hooks, elastic, or ties, but by magnets! I’ll admit right now that I can only do a rough job of translating the website, so I don’t know all the details. But the concept is simple and the appeal is clear!

Some folks don’t seem to see the point, but isn’t it obvious? This lingerie can be easily ripped off in a moment of passion – over and over and over. The naughty collection includes bras, panties, corsets, and babydolls, all obviously meant for playful romps in the bedroom. The magnets are thoughtfully hidden under other embellishments (like bows) so they aren’t obvious at first glance.

Chances are good that you count yourself among Hanky Panky‘s fans. It seems like almost everyone these reaches for their Hanky Panky thongs as their daily underwear! But now you can start wearing the brand’s signature lace for steamy nights in, too. Hanky Panky has just released the After Midnight collection, which is full of naughty styles in seductive colors. The After Midnight collection includes 15 risqué styles including open cup bras, crotchless panties, a teddy, a garter skirt, and more.

Right now much of the collection is exclusive to Bare Necessities. Lida Orzeck, co-founder of Hanky Panky, said:

Provocative Lingerie – Quality Sexy-Wear?

Following the runaway success in its Beauty Night brand (we’ll be showing on TLP very, very soon!), Alterego have decided to take on another manufacturer of sexy lingerie and playwear. Provocative is a French design company, they focus on very sexy lines, with an emphasis on quality of materials, packaging and standard of manufacturing. Alterego is a large wholesaler in the UK, and that basically means we’ll be seeing a lot of this label in the next couple years all over the UK web shops.

Diane Rothwell, Alterego’s MD said “we launched the brand just before Christmas, and it has done really great business just from our website, so we think that once we begin to market it properly we will be able to create a good demand for the fourteen lines in the range”. “The quality of the products is fantastic” Diane says, “retailers will be genuinely amazed at the prices considering the superb quality. We strive to find products that our retailers can make good margins on, and will lead to repeat business, and ‘Provocative’ will fit that bill superbly. No minimum orders, free postage, point of sale materials, and 24 hour dispatch all adds to make this range even more attractive.”

I have yet to see the label in person, and I’ve read a lot of these “quality sexy-wear” promises before. 90% of the time, these kind of labels disappoint. Can anyone out there confirm the quality of Provocative lingerie?

Spring Collection from Valisere Tabu

The Triumph company located in the UK owns the brand Valisere. I’ve never quite understood the difference between Triumph and Valisere, but it is possible that Triumph used to be everyday lingerie and Valisere was for special occasions. A few years ago, Valisere started their own project called Tabu. The Valisere Tabu line is similar to the Naughty Janet line for Janet Reger. Tabu isn’t quite as risque, but they do create lingerie for those special evenings.

With all the lingerie companies in the world, it is hard to believe that so many outlets design such lovely creations. And incredibly, the supply seems to be endless. One of those myriad of companies is MED from Greece founded in 2003 by designer Christos Hatzivasileiou. Although he admits that his mandate is to focus on the erotic, play side of lingerie, even approaching fetish styles, the underwear that he creates is nonetheless tasteful and actually stunning in some pieces. He says that, “MED underwear is the ideal accessory for the protagonists of every daring erotic adventure, because of their unbelievably sexy fit and their revealing design, which liberates the libido hidden inside us”.

Perusing the Summer 2008 Collection “Precious”, the pieces are strikingly gorgeous. Anyone would be proud to wear these lace and crystal creations as there is nothing embarrassingly fetish about these undergarments. Meticulous detail in design and workmanship is seen in the beautiful matching ribbons intertwined throughout the black stockings. Lace bras with flower designs and pretty thongs adorned in crystals are mainstays of the sets while colours are demure and sexy in blacks, golds, hot pinks, reds and purples.

Sweet little bows and gold butterflies trim the sets off in a dainty and feminine fashion. G World Collections: Cheap Fun!

High-end lingerie is definitely worth it – the attention to fit, quality, and detail is often exquisite. But there’s nothing wrong with wanting something cheap and fun every once in a while! Having a couple sexy, inexpensive outfits for wearing around the house is a great way to enjoy something pretty without breaking the bank. I just discovered a new brand of low-priced lingerie, G World Collections. I haven’t seen any of these in person, but I sure wouldn’t mind trying out a few! Here are some of my favorites:
