The brand continues to focus on elaborate strings, garters, and knickers with some bras and camis too. Prices are very reasonable. I’m guessing the quality is similar to other Polish manufacturers and with budgets tight all around, some splurges on a special kit might make you smile.

If you feel less adventurous, you can shop at retailer Cupid Lingerie. Prices are still reasonable, but I’m not sure Cupid is carrying all of the new pieces.

Pigeon is another lingerie manufacturer in Poland. There isn’t a lot of information about the company, but judging from the past articles on Polish lingerie companies, they likely have a similar background. What seems unique about Pigeon is their nearly exclusive focus on unstructured garments. I haven’t seen boning or underwires. Even the slim fitting garments seem to get their structure from stretch lace and not from a laced up back.

Without structured offerings, Pigeon has focused on the camisole, babydoll, slip, and basque-like tops. They don’t offer bras in any of the pictures I’ve been able to find. Some of these are quite pretty and I would like to see this brand picked up for broader European retail distribution. (See Matterhorn wholesale intermediary for options if you are a retailer)

On the left is the Florence, available in string , knicker, bra, and slip. Nearly everything is on sale right now and this is down from 99 zt to 39-90 zt (about 13-30 US or 10-24 UK ). The slip is semi transparent with a few details in the lace and some gathered lace around the neckline with spaghetti straps. On the right is the Rossi. This set is available in bra, string, or knicker. A dark maroon background is covered with a floral pattern and pink contrasting lace. On sale for 19-39 zt.

On the left is the Alicja. This is a basic black knicker and bra set. The knicker has some gathered fabric stretching from one side to the other. On sale for 19-59 zt. On the right is Joyce. This is a black base with white polka dots and a little red lace trim accents. Find it on sale from 79 to 19-29 zt.

The brand was clearly started in the hosiery line and has been expanding into adjacent markets including lingerie, activewear, underwear for children, and underwear for men. Technical advancements have included a seamless offering and all cotton offering.

The company sells via eponymous shops in 30 locations throughout Poland and through their online company store. Gatta is expanding into the EU, Ukraine, Croatia, Mongolia, and Australia.

The offering reminds me of a solid brand you would find in a US department store — Hanes or Vanity Fair come to mind. Find out more at the company website http://www.gatta.pl/. It is available in English and Polish.

This year’s edition combines photos of the latest Wol-Bar designs in combination with moody and nostalgic pictures of Lodz – the city where Wol-Bar was established almost 15 years ago.

Forex, Jovita, and Malinez are smaller lingerie producers in Poland and they will be presented in a group. The Forex site is available in Polish, Russian, and English. Forex produces lingerie, nightgowns, sleepwear, and swimwear. The products are available at the company store http://sklep.forex.of.pl/. The Jovita site is available in Polish only and they don’t seem to have a company store, so the product is likely only at Polish retail and Polish online sites (Check the TLP article covering etailers in Poland). The Malinez site is available in Polish and English. The company makes a wide range of products, but mostly matched sets and and every day basics. The company store http://sklep.malinez.com/ is a good place to find the product online.

Femme Fatale is a small manufacturer of lingerie in Poland. The brand has been around for about 10 years and the corporate site is available in English and Polish. The collection is separated in three parts: Exclusive, Cotton, and Black Cat. The company store is available only in Polish. The store also carries more pieces than the collections shown on the corporate site. The product is not easy to find outside of the company store. Some of the nightwear is very pretty and deserves a bigger audience.

LiviaCorsetti is a company producing lingerie in Poland. The company has a Flash based website available in English and Polish. The collections are split into Exclusive and Erotic lines. Pictures in this story are from both collections. Livia sells to numerous online retailers (see the snapshot of sites below). Livia seems similar to US purveyors like Dreamgirls or Coquette. There are plenty of pieces in black and lots of lace. The Cleopatra (pictured in the second row below) is the most innovative piece.
