I have to admit: it’s not my cup of tea, and it’s not the kind of lingerie I usually end up buying. Thing is, in the UK, Ann Summers is one of the bigger names in adult shopping — that includes sexy lingerie and costumes…. ;)

Their lingerie isn’t too bad to be honest. The quality is okay, it’s affordable but anything but cheap, and the styles are sexy and daring. When taking a look at their previous collections though, it’s pretty clear that they’re not the most innovative company when it comes to their lingerie — lots of pieces look exactly the same design-wise as they did in the previous collection…

Anyway, got my hands on quite a few high-res images, take a look, and let us know how you liked it if you end up buying something! ;)

Fantasie is a fantastic brand for those bra sizes usually left behind by pretty lingerie designs. Granted, the lingerie for us larger-cupped women isn’t ever going to be as pretty and wispy as a lot of the lingerie out there – but considering the feat of engineering required to make attractive bras in sizes up to JJ cup, it is a real treat to have something so functional as well as foxy! I’m happy to see that “Gabrielle” one of my personal favorites, is back in Autumn/Winter ‘07 with some new color options in richer tones for cozier months. The new lines are available in cup sizes C-JJ, although the availability varies by style. All of the new styles can be found at Fantasie’s website.

I am also thoroughly excited about the new multiway bra from Fantasie. It’s not much to look at, but provides larger-cupped gals (up to a G cup) with an option underneath halter neck and racerback tops. I have several bras from the “Smoothing” collection, and have been very pleased with every single one, so I expect nothing less from this! It is already available at Figleaves UK, but the US site has a bit of catching up to do. ;-)

Look no further than this Wonderbra that can be worn 100 different ways, which first came out last fall. That sounds almost space-age at first! My convertible bra can do only convert to three different strap positions, and I was pretty happy with that! Apparently my bra is horribly sub par, however. The customer reviews on Figleaves show that 72% of customers would recommend this bra to a friend, but upon reading them all it seems that there might be sizing issues, especially for the larger sizes. Still, if 8 out of 11 women recommend this bra it could be worth trying out. I can’t think of any outfit that this bra wouldn’t work for, other than completely strapless styles. I can’t find the Wonderbra anywhere except Figleaves UK, but Victoria’s Secret has only very recently begun to sell what looks to be basically the same product, but I haven’t heard anything yet about how good it is. If anyone has it, let us know!
