Tyra. Heidi. Gisele. I’m not sure these ladies would be known by only their first names if it wasn’t for this legendary campaign. This past week, the newest Angel, Miranda Kerr, was on the CW11 morning news in New York discussing the anniversary exhibit debuting today in the flagship Herald Square location. A decade of Angel history is chronicled through exhibit features such as the very first pair of wings to hit the runway and Heidi’s legendary giant angel wings. Victoria’s Secret is also launching the new Dream Angel bra featuring a memory lining that conforms to your curves.

I honestly think she looks better in these shots than in most of the Victoria’s Secret ad campaigns…

By the way: Adriana isn’t the only top model that has worked with Zeki: names like Tyra Banks, Claudia Schiffer, Laetitia Casta, Daniela Pestova, Karen Mulder, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Karembeu and Kim Smith really give a brand some zing, no? Can’t believe I had never heard of them before. :(

Gisele will no longer be an “angel.”

Victoria’s Secret CEO, Edward Rezak, stated, “The long and fruitful relationship between Gisele Bundchen and Victoria’s Secret has reached a conclusion. We wish her all the best and thank her for her extraordinary work. She will continue to be a very visible part of the world’s sexiest brand through the remainder of the year.”

While that is all that was stated, word on the street here has it that she wanted more money. $5 million more in fact. They didn’t want to give. And so, she is retiring her wings.

I’m wondering who will take the reins as the front runner now. Maybe they should bring Tyra back…
