One of the world’s most iconic fashion superstars, Elle Macpherson, is today confirmed as the new host of LIVING’s Britain’s Next Top Model, the UK’s ultimate search to find the next big name in fashion.

Recently, Elle was filmed reading ‘Life Story’ by Tennessee Williams during a shoot for the next EMI campaign.  The campaign, loosely based on the theme, ‘bed time stories’ inspired the luminous Ms. Macpherson to read one of her favorite poems as a bed time story.  Naturally, she is filmed in one of her exquisite, namesake designs.

This clip from a March 2008 episode shows the girls in the gorgeous lingerie with a New York City backdrop.

Elle herself watches the photo shoot to make sure that her bras and knickers look their best in the pictures. The beginning of this video shows the model makeovers, but the lingerie shoot begins at 1:45. Enjoy!

The show is taking a very glamorous retro turn which parallels what many designers are planning for their collections as evident in the pieces seen in this ad. I love that high quality lingerie is taking its place in the world of television. Many congrats!
