Divissima opens Signature Boutique in Milan

In the beginning there was the miniskirt, a symbol of outrageousness, a garment that was initially banned and then became a cult object representing female liberation. Forty years later it’s the bikini’s turn, and Divissima is one of the labels that made it “mini”. The Milan brand claims it has reinvented the bikini, making it smaller but maintaining the quality and originality of the fabrics. In the store in the heart of Milan you can buy items from the huge collection at an affordable price and use the “Only for You” service, in other words create your own made-to-measure mini-bikini: customers can take the invaluable advice of the experts in the showroom, order their costume and pick it up within 10 days.

Besides its original line, the Divissima store will also offer a series of beachwear items such as pareos, pantapareos, shorts, vest tops, mini-dresses, and miniskirts; not to mention hats, microfibre robes, beach bags and, for any other eventuality, travel kits and mini-sunshades. Completing the range are the collection of costume jewellery and the exclusive handbag-size Divissima fragrance.

At the same time as the mini-bikinis, Divissima will be presenting its range of lingerie, including thongs in different sizes (from extreme to normal) in lace, tulle, cotton and microfibre.

Earlier this week, Italian microkini-label Divissima opened its own little outlet store for the sale of the old collection items from its site.

Wicked Weasel: Fresh styles AND birthday giveaway!

Wicked Weasel does it their way: they release new styles all the time. We could give each and every one attention, but I’ll try to give you updates when there are a few new ones… like now!

First up: 414 Shiny Bandeay Bikini. A very daring and sexy bandeau that’s so see-through you’d wish you could stay in the water until it turns into salt. I like it though, again, if you have the confidence, it could work!

Second: new colors Naked Mesh ‘knickers’ — wearable microwear!

Why I love White Orchid

White Orchid is not one of those enormous retailers that try to either blow you away with their enormous stock or with their extremely low prices. No, White Orchid knows that they have to focus on their niche audience AND stocklist — and with the newest additions to their shop they’ve shown their strength again: picking the right luxury latin pieces to tickle the fancy of the growing crowd looking for these — while keeping the prices competitive.

There is a little downside though, but I’m sure they’ll fix this soon: on some pieces page it’s really hard to find the brand name. That’s a pity seeing as all these brands are quality stuff, not sweatshop chinese import…

Anyway, I feel like forgiving them when I see such new beauties added to there store like this superb satin triangle bra that couldn’t look more southern. The sober design might make it look simple but I’m sure the contrast of the soft satin and the sexy red (and tanga bottom) will work in the bedroom. Price tag is under Â£40.

Wicked Weasel: Sexy New Styles!

Wicked Weasel (the most famous and popular microwear label out there!) has released some sexy new styles on their website in the last few weeks, so I figured it’s time to give you girls (and guys) a roundup on the tiny Wicked Weasel newcomers.

The Micro Cheeky Lace bottom is one of the most eye-catching knickers WW has in their collection. A very low cutout, high rise on the sides and pretty quality lace adds an intimate and girly touch. At $20 it’s not too expensive if you ask me. Pretty, sexy, small: a signature Wicked Weasel piece!

Not so much lingerie or swimwear (even though you’ll look sexy at the beach), but these WW Lighthouse Shorts (#516) are surely spectacular. I suggest being a S-bottom in stead of an XL though, as there’s not too much fabric on the brazilian styled backside! Price tag: $54.

And last but not least, the Microminimus Naked Lace thong for $21. It’s a bit too (really, TOO) tiny for my taste, as the name would make you believe!

ALSBikinis – is this still swimwear?

If you’re talking about Microwear (and we’ve been trying to cover most of the Microwear brands on The Lingerie Post) you have to mention ALS Bikinis too. The thing is: I’m not so sure if this is still swimwear

Wicked Weasel microkinis are tiny. Microkitten swimwear is tiny. ALSBikinis… cover even less. The photo’s I’ve attached to this post are the pieces who have the most (!!) fabric. I wouldn’t recommend anyone under 18 to really check out their full website as there are quite a few skin-showing pieces too — therefore, people interested in checking out alsbikinis.com should really type the address in their browser themselves.

The pictures show ALS models Nella, Sandy and Jade in microkinis your mother in law will surely not approve! I’m not saying the pieces are ugly, and I’m not saying the $49 price tag isn’t great for these bikinis… If you want supersmall, ALS is a great option

Okay okay I know I’m writing too much about microwear these last few days… Thing is, as you probably have noticed, I’m getting more and more intrigued with all these tiny micro bikinis and thongs. I already said I’m about to try one of these sets out, and that’s why I’m cruising the web for brands that I might like. So far I discovered Wicked Weasel, aSS and now: microkitten.

The microkittens introduce themselves as follows:

Sounds good, no? Well, their stuff looks very Brazilian indeed, and they even have some non-micro pieces too. My first choice is this very extravagant connected bikini. Show your cleavage but don’t feel like you’re naked: I love it! The thong-styled backside is a little bit daring for me, but I can imagine myself giving it a go on a private beach for a first try . It’s only $72.00, so that’s not too bad at all!

A close second is their true micro bikini. The widest point on the front of the thong is two (!) inches, so you better get that brazilian wax soon! The triangle bikini covers up more than the bottom, but still shows loads and loads of skin. As the microkittens say it: “not one for the faint of heart!”.
