Sonata Rapalyte is the Lithuanian designer behind the brand. As a young student of the industry, Sonata worked with Damaris. She decided to create her own line. She moved to the Sardinian and crafted her first line. Sonata says:

I just want to make women feel pretty and sexy…. and when you wear amazing lingerie – you feel amazing. Some of my designs can be also worn on the outside too for more overt sexiness. Basically though, if I’ve achieved you feeling fabulous, then, I’m happy with that!

This is her second seasonal collection. You can find it online at TLP favorites Glamorous Amorous and Peacock and Strutt.

In the Autumn of 2006, Andrea (34) felt she needed a new direction and decided to create her own lingerie brand. As she had limited experience of designing lingerie, she embraced the challenge and set about furthering her knowledge. Having spent the next 18 months researching the industry and working hard on her developing brand, she finally created two limited edition collections – for Christmas 2008 (Evangeline, photo on the right) and Valentine’s 2009 (Virgin Queen) as a taster, before the launch of the Spring/Summer 2009 collection – ‘Paris’.

A limited edition of just 50 sets, ‘Evangeline’, a sinfully seductive balconette bra and knicker set is now available from Peacock & Strutt. The soft black semi-transparent mesh reverse of the knickers gives a cheeky rear view, whilst the bra makes the most of a lady’s curves. With silk lined cups, the bra feels as luxurious on the inside as it looks sexy on the outside.

Andrea says about her name-carrying label: “I wanted to create luxury lingerie that appeals to a broad spectrum of tastes and moods; from sensual to provocative, daring to feminine… lingerie that can be worn behind the bedroom door or flaunted in public.””

Other than the above information, I couldn’t find a whole lot about this brand. I can’t translate the official Alicia Fuhr website, so I’m a bit stuck at this point. The website has press clippings from the past ten years, but of course I can’t read those either! Lupoline is our first stop on this tour of Polish lingerie. The company has been ramping up production since 2002 and now offers an immense product line (see thumbnails below). The line looks to be of high quality and it is clear from the website that Lupoline is eyeing markets outside of Poland with content that has been localized for many countries and languages. The domain Lupoline.us has recently been acquired and the company may be making a push for the US market.

The collections includes well over 30 pieces per season and this is on top of a permanent collection. The pieces are numbered which helps with their deep catalogue. Here are a few selections:
