Skin is a NYC based lingerie design shop headed up by Susan Beischel. Susan perceived a void in the lingerie marketplace around cotton garments. “Most cotton lingerie out there was either too mature, or too juvenile. I wanted to create a more sophisticated fashionable look that women could wear more often.” Susan is not only the originator of the brand, but she runs the business, and is the head designer. She has some peers in Gentry Lane from Gentry de Paris, Guia La Bruna, and Igor Pacemski from Yes, Master.

Skin runs two boutiques in New York at Piermont and Westhampton Beach. The brand is also carried by some select stockists including Barneys, Le Bon Marche, Drawer (Japan), and International Orange (San Francisco).
